If I ever was good enough to be a VA I'd probably make a hobby doing voice requests in exchange for donations to charities.
Weird he's doing this sort of stuff recently, I recall he tried to avoid and ignore requests to use his scout voice for things in the past.

Considering their "Meet your Match" update in TF2, it seems like they don't give a shit about the community. They probably don't care about this either.

usually companies make them sign something saying "dont do that"
va's are part of the brand, if they use the voice to do something dumb (imagine the scout singing a [URL="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYG4okfEQwY"]moonman song[/URL] for example), then it can damage the brand.

He's refused to do some things with the scout voice so likely got contractual guidelines on what he's allowed to do, or its just they don't give a fuck and he's just playing it safe.
Plus the Scout voice is [I]very[/I] close to his natural voice, he randomly breaks into it without really knowing sometimes.
His twitch channel has become my favorite, he streams a lot and is very interactive with the chat. He's also begun doing some scout things at the end of almost every stream, the most recent one being him reading the TF comics with the scout voice and his best impressions of the other classes and characters.
I highly recommend his channel
If anything, it's given me some insight in how VA's prep and work. It's about as every bit of weird and silly as I'd imagined and I love it, and I thank him for doing this :v:

He did some skits which were really good, but people didn't pay too much attention to them. He's pretty damn talented, I hope someone else picks him up eventually.

With this sort of thing going, wouldn't machinima makers basically be able to pay him to do actual lines for their movies?
I'm sure he'll set up a way to do that soon enough unless there's a contract preventing it. As it stands right now it'd probably be hard to pull off because he does these on a twitch stream with donations and when it reaches a certain point he does a line picked from the audience, so someone would have to spend a lot of time and possibly money to do it

I'm quite sure I've seen sfm movies which had scout saying stuff which is not present in games. Dunno if it was him or not.
