A man was jailed by a Kemerovo region court on Thursday for assaulting a Gypsy fortune teller who predicted that he would be jailed, the Investigative Committee said.
Gennady Osipovich tried to kill the unidentified female fortune teller, who told him she saw a “state-owned house” — a Russian euphemism for jail — in his future, the committee said in a statement on its web site.
The woman managed to escape, but Osipovich stabbed to death two unidentified witnesses of the assault, which took place in October. He was sentenced to 22 years in a maximum-security prison.[/release]

He went to jail for stabbing 2 people to death, not the assault of the fortune teller.
He would've gone to jail anyway, if the gypsy reported it.

If she knew beforehand the results of the chain of events that would be triggered right after she told him his fortune, which includes she being attacked by the customer and more importantly, [b]2 people being stabbed to death[/b], that means she's an accomplice to murder... right?

Why would she? You can't prove she actually knew it would happen, my guess is that guy was telling off how he wanted to kill some people.
She didn't predict jail in his future, she's a lying scumbag gypsy. She's probably just saying that to get publicity.
