how about some gameplay
It's not out until next year.
The Evil Within, in development for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the PC, and next generation consoles, is slated for release in 2014.
I am not sleeping until I get this game! And then I'm not sleeping even more!

Diagonal zombie movement. Make it a feature Bethesda.
It's not out until next year.
~BUT IT'S NOT A REAL TRAILER/TEASER WITHOUT GAMEPLAY WHAT IS THE POINT?!!~ Yeah, seriously, it's not out for a while and this is just a debut/announcement trailer I really don't see why you would complain about gameplay at this point.
Diagonal zombie movement. Make it a feature Bethesda.
It's not being developed by Bethesda, jesus christ.
I was just about to say safehead looked like a pretty swell guy, but then, eech.
Looks interesting to say the least.
It's not being developed by Bethesda, jesus christ.
Whoops, I thought Mikami was working with BGS.
Looks fucking incredible.
Meh/10
Jesus goddamn christ that scared the shit out of me
I was just about to say safehead looked like a pretty swell guy, but then, eech.
I was hoping that would be the player in some fucked up anti-monster armour but I guess not.
I was hoping that would be the player in some fucked up anti-monster armour but I guess not.
Unless the name "The Evil Within" refers to the evil inside you and the evil inside you is a horrible blood tentacle monster that resides in your face.
The classical piece that played at the beginning and the end... It's so familiar, but I can't for the life of me remember its name or composer...
buggy as shit copy/pasted cave simulator. Here's hoping this end sup being fully functional and not on a horrendous engine that should have been burnt at the stake 5 years ago.
Well first of all if being a "buggy as shit copy/pasted cave simulator" is a sign of a badly made game, you must really hate Oblivion.(Not that I know if you do or not) Second of all IMO Skyrim was a pretty good game, I liked Oblivion more but it is in no way the horrible game fanboys are trying to make it up to be, I mean you can have your own opinion as much as you want but most people still enjoyed it and as far as I see it, when a company makes a game that receives critical acclaim and sells extremely well it has been a good addition to the series. Just because it wasn't what you wanted from a TES game it doesn't mean it's a bad game you know.
That was terrifying.

Skyrim's dungeons were more unique. They were all made from a common pool of cave sections but I never noticed any sections that looked like they just took another dungeon and added a little too it.
