The Teen Porn website, located at www.indianembassy-bah.com, describes itself as "an exclusive hardcore teen site that has a nice looking, easy to navigate tour that is splashed with some very nice sample movies". An embassy spokesman told the GDN yesterday that it stopped using the address last summer, but never realised it would resurface as a site selling pornography. "We stopped using this address in July last year after we were not satisfied with the service we were provided by the administrators," he said. "Ever since we changed to the new address, www.indianembassybahrain.com, we have had better services and have had a lot of visitors using embassy services. "But since we have had scores of calls from people complaining about the old address being used for pornography." He said the embassy had tried contacting those behind the Teen Porn site, but had received no response. "E-mails to their officials have also drawn a blank," added the spokesman. He explained the embassy simply stopped using the old website address when it changed administrators and was shocked to discover the old address was now being used to peddle porn. When they contacted Incarnate (ME), the company that used to administer their website, they were told the person responsible for looking after their old site had moved to India. "However, we (the embassy) and the company are unable to get in touch with him," said the spokesman. "Under the circumstances, there is nothing we can do but keep telling people about the new address." He revealed no official complaint had yet been lodged with the Culture and Information Ministry, which governs the content of websites in Bahrain. An Incarnate (ME) spokesman told the GDN that since the Indian Embassy never registered its old domain name, anyone was free to use it. "Since it is no longer the embassy website, anyone can take it over," he explained. "It is a free domain. We have no idea who owns it since it is not a registered domain name. "It could be owned from anywhere in the world and the owners will update its content. "The embassy should not have let the name go and should have secured it, even if they had to change the administrator." A Batelco official added the telecom company was powerless to help, since it was only responsible for registering domain names ending in .bh. He also advised institutions to register their Internet domain names to protect their rights and privacy, as well as to prevent misuse. "Any .com domain name could be from anywhere," he said. "It would be very difficult to get to know where these are operated from." Anyone searching Google for "Indian Embassy Bahrain" will find the Teen Porn website listed first, above the official Indian Embassy site. Although the site opens normally, clicking on the dozens of links and pictures prompts the Culture and Information Ministry's "site blocked" notice for "violating regulations and laws of Kingdom of Bahrain". Ministry officials were unavailable for comment yesterday, while a Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) official said Internet content was not its responsibility.
lol

It was hardly "hacked", someone's just used the domain since there's nothing stopping them.
Snip, snip, snip.
That's not hacking. Was the original server really taken over?
Such fine internet shenanigans.
Let me assure you, this was no accident

The biggest problem with these, and the majority of porn sites, is they dont have ANY content whatsoever. They just serve as hubs to go to other sights, and they get cash every time someone clicks a link...
