Personally I don't think this surprises me one bit. The illegal Ivory trade is a very lucrative business and I am sure the LRA have no problem with it considering their reputation.
of course it's no surprise. if they're willing to hurl children into the meatgrinder in hordes, they're more than willing to kill animals to raise funds for their cause.
