looks like a combination between conviction and chaos theory.
I don't know. It looks interesting, but that killing in motion thing looks like its just going to be heavily scripted stuff that happens the same way IMO. And it still doesn't really feel like Splinter Cell to me. Chaos Theory was really the last real splinter cell to me.
This is getting a bit out of hand. I mean, they could focus on some new stealth tricks or whatever, but nooooo, press one button to see a cutscene where you badass main character kills 30 enemies effortlesssly with slowmotion to accentuate his badassery.
I guess it's not the same game anymore. Either go play the old games or get used to they new style
That missile doesn't seem very stealthy.
I guess I won't judge this one until I play it. I liked Conviction, but I hope this one doesn't rely on action-y things too much.
Three things:
1. Is that the same VA for Sam as all the other games? His voice sounds different... Less deep or something.
2. Why the hell is he IN CHARGE. That shit is.. Just wow.. I liked it better when Sam could be this "rogue like" agent who sometimes doesn't follow orders and the boss gets pissed, then later in the game it turns out you made the right choice or something. And that brings me to 3.
3. Where the fuck is the stealth and multiple choices? Maybe the full game will be better, but what I see from this 6 minute clip is action oriented. More like an action FPS than a Splinter Cell. Jesus do they want to ruin the series?
/rant
Conviction was a good game, but it wasn't a true splinter cell, Hopefully "Blacklist" won't be the same. So far it's not looking good.
Looks like the game plays itself. The only thing that the player does by themselves is jump on buildings and wait for an enemy to get close so they can press a button.
Auto-kill features are really getting bad for this series.

The VA did change. Horrible decision, but maybe Michael Ironside quit by himself. Either way it's not doing anything good for the series.
Who's this new Sam voice actor?
He sounds generic.
that hud sucks
I hate how it seems that all games are turning out to be less challenging than what they used to be.
''Blacker than black special operations unit'' *Brutally kills 30 people in broad daylight*
This game is so 2011. Sam Fisher has completely lost his personality- He went from being one smooth, conscious, quirky and calm motherfucker to being just a ruthless mass murder machine with the ability to aim and shoot at the speed of light to kill 10 muslims in the same room in slow motion.
Welcome to Call of Splinter: Modern Cell
Oh my God this is disgusting.
No Michael Ironside, it's the studio's first splinter cell game, cowadoody gameplay AND setting.
This is going to be a DISASTER.
I just want my classical espionage game how the hell can you fuck it up this badly?
Oh yeah, they tried to make this look stealthier just by putting back Fisher's old suit and nightvision. Cheeky bastards.
Did...did sam just execute a guy and say the guy shot himself?
What the fuck?
Wow, check out that stealthy airstrike! It looks like they're trying to make an action movie rather than a fun stealth game.
It's official, Michael Ironside isn't going to be voicing Fisher, apparently they got some other guy because they have this new facial motion capture tech that they need someone who can pull off the right expressions while voicing at the same time. Hopefully the community backlash makes them rethink their terrible, terrible decision.

Oh for gods sake, michael ironside is a movie actor too, and why do they need the facial motion capture? why cant they dub over him?.

I think he pulled the trigger himself.
Also disgusting change to the game.
Splinter Cell is all about stealth and they just focus more and more on action.
Ubisoft really needs to stop being dumb with the Splinter Cell series.

Sam is supposed to be 57 years old in that game. This is getting retarded.
I would rather have a nice VA then some bland voice which uses a new technique which saves time.
I'm not looking at my characters face all the time so I wouldn't care less.
The title is rather excellent, because it describes the action of any even remotely experienced gamer towards Ubisoft.

At 2:25 I think you can barely here the check being signed.
It's official, Ubisoft is butchering every single Tom Clancy game.

More like Splinter Cell: Black Ops
You guys remind me of those old people who say stuff like, I remember the time where T.V shows were black n white, and were worth something!
Accept the change, it's inevitable and maybe it might be even enjoyable. Who knows.
pls stop raping sam fisher
conviction shouldve been the end

I'll probably pre-order it.
Probably because I'm an actual fan of the series.
So they're not gonna make Splinter Cell as it was, and how disappointed i was when they said that they were gonna take the things to a whole "new" level at 2:35.
The whole game is based on action, not on stealth as it showed in the trailer doesn't make me want to buy this game.
It's sad to see a series that was about being stealthy are now basicly non-stop action.

It was a 5 minute stage demo. People said the same thing about the 11 minute private Hitman Absolution demo. Relax.
