He was allowed to drive home though, and managed the dubious feat of getting caught in the same inspection, this time driving 75 KPH. The man got a speeding fine on top of loosing his drivers license, which he won’t get back for a while.
It takes a special kind of idiot to manage it twice.
The sheer idiocy of some people.
How?
Maybe he was reading a KPH sign as a MPH sign? 0_o
Maybe he was reading a KPH sign as a MPH sign? 0_o
He was norwegian IIRC
Maybe he was reading a KPH sign as a MPH sign? 0_o
only an american would suggest this.
Maybe he was reading a KPH sign as a MPH sign? 0_o
If he was going 100mph, I applaud him.
If he was going 100mph, I applaud him.
Except I'm saying he would have been going 60MPH in a 60KPH zone, which is just about 100KPH. I think.
-snip- forget it.
What the hell is this centigrade ur all talking about??
Except I'm saying he would have been going 60MPH in a 60KPH zone, which is just about 100KPH. I think.
that was obviously a typo. how can you think that it was MPH when all of europe uses KM. America is one of 4 countries that uses MPH on it's roads.
Except I'm saying he would have been going 60MPH in a 60KPH zone, which is just about 100KPH. I think.
Only an american would think of something like that.
that was obviously a typo. how can you think that it was MPH when all of europe uses KM. America is one of 4 countries that uses MPH on it's roads.
This reminds me, what the heck does the UK use? We use mph for the signs, but there seems to be people who use kph. Why can't the UK just switch to metric?
The UK is some sick mutant of both systems.
Meters per hour. (Kidding, I realize that 1000 meters = 1 kilometer)
What an idiot. Why would they allow him to drive home?
This reminds me, what the heck does the UK use? We use mph for the signs, but there seems to be people who use kph. Why can't the UK just switch to metric?
I'm fairly certain that the UK does use the metric system, last time I checked(which was a couple seconds ago) Liberia Myanmar and the USA use something other than metric. I wish the USA would switch over to metric already.
-snip-
loosing
that was obviously a typo. how can you think that it was MPH when all of europe uses KM. America is one of 4 countries that uses MPH on it's roads.
He could have had an imported car that shows MPH instead, though I just think that he's an idiot.
Our road signs are all Mph and Miles in the UK. Would much prefer KPH and Kilometres.
