BBC America has this show on all the time and the shit sound effects they add and Gordon not narrating is what gives away that its the US version.
The UK versions of Ramsay's shows are always superior because he's a much more level headed and understandable person whereas the US versions make him out to be an individual that's all angry, all the time.
UK is more documentary-ish and US overplays it for drama

In The Suffering's commentary, they mentioned using the same technique (Violin bow on a cymbol) to make the sounds of prison gates opening. So there's a reason for that :v:
