Sad news, but not comprehensible at all. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 11:00 am morning time, with plenty of sun light and visibility? How can someone mistake "body" with an intruder? If it were 11:00 PM, I would understand...

While I feel bad for her and their family, I will say that it is at least somewhat suspicious that she managed to mistake him in the middle of the day. The article is far too vague to really weigh in on this. We barely know the circumstances of the incident at all.

Man comes home early for lunch, finds the wife involved in something sketchy(possibly involving the family dog and some peanut butter), she shoots him so there are no witnesses. That's what I think happened. No one accidentally shoots their husband in the middle of the day.
