Several things wrong with this. 1. If they were to plant weapons, they would of put something obvious in there. They have no reason to say it was things that would be obviously on board so it's hardly likely that they did fake it. 2. It's not that they attacked with particularly lethal weapons, it's that they attacked. If they used their fists then they are still attacking armed military personel. I don't know why they are showing what they attacked with but it's not really a big deal. 3. IDF spokesperson isn't really a legitimate source.

Yes, they've attacked with regular items. Don't know what you mean by "used to fire on them before they boarded" because nobody said this. And the guns that were used against the IDF were guns the mob took from the IDF and used against them.

They were warned to stop and didn't so it was one of the only ways, then they got bum rushed and had to go lethal. All a stupid conflict really.
