• A number of questions regarding my new AK47

First of all, I ordered it from AirsoftGI. I paid $40 for next day shipping, and they took so damn long to process it that I had to wait until the weekend ended to finally receive it. So after 5 days and a wasted $40, it finally comes. The thing looks used. There's a tiny scuff on the front and a few dings around the barrel. Also, there was still a BB left in the magazine. Should I be worried about this? Secondly, I want to paint the orange tip, but I can't figure out how to remove the flash hider. It's a CYMA CM028. Help?
Weird, contact them about it? About the BB, they usually fire the guns before they ship them out for a bit of quality control.
Yeah I found the test form literally as soon as I posted this. Okay, well what about the flash hider then? I tried Googling it, but no success. Is it even possible to remove the flash hider on this gun?
It is if you destroy the threads.

This will melt the glue, and make it easier to unscrew.
Truth be told when i got my gun from airsoft gi, it looked used. Some of the screws and threads attaching the stock had rust on them too.
Orange tips are either screwed on by 1) Rotating them and then using glue 2) a special allan wrench
Questions thread please.
I think the questions thread is more for purchase advice and quick general airsoft questions. That wasn't me who rated you dumb, by the way.
Don't listen to these guys. The ONLY way to remove the flash hider from a DBoys AK would result in ruining the threads. There's a small grub screw inside that you cannot get, and removing it anyway would fuck the threads thoroughly.

Oh lol. 74u. I was talking about the AK74.
I melted the glue successfully, but even fully melted the thing was impossible to unscrew by hand. I scratched up the tip with my pliers getting it off, but it's all painted and awesome now.
