Looks neat enough but the framerate and those jaggies?
I already asked for Friday off and didn't learn until today that it's delayed. *Kills self*
why would you take days off for a videogame

why would you take days off for a videogame

you could wait till your actual days off so you dont lose actual vacation time???
maybe people like spending their vacation time with relaxing at home with a really fun game?
not everyone can go visit exotic places.
you could wait till your actual days off so you dont lose actual vacation time???
I wouldn't skip work to play but I often skipped school to play new games.
I took 3 days off for MGS 3.
See 10:30.
Still, what is with the other 20 minutes?
Still, what is with the other 20 minutes?
go play something else if you're going to have a stick up your ass about shadows, noone who likes these games really cares about them
you could wait till your actual days off so you dont lose actual vacation time???
Haha vacation time. Ha.

Ambient occlusion serves as the shadow system when you're not in an area where there's a light source like the sun or a strong lamp.
This is how most games deal with it.
You can't just throw around clearly defined shadows in areas where you aren't supposed to be having a shadow. This is a dark game with lots of ambient lighting.

i do it all the time
Come on FROM. Deliver me from Dark Souls II.
I have incredibly high hopes for this.

Dark Souls had a defined direction and style
Dark Souls 2 sort of went all over the place with lots of strangely thematic areas that felt out of place
Bloodborne has a very defined direction and style again
My hopes are high.
Fists only or go home [sp]Only way I'll play this game if I can ever get my hands on a PS4[/sp]
That starting outfit is really nice looking too, the waistcoat and dangly suspenders have a nice characteristic to it other than others that we've seen such as long black trenchcoat, and long white trenchcoat, and long black plague doctor 's outfit [sp]the plague doctor mask is neat tho[/sp]

Also this is apparently a build of the game that was recorded a while ago. So keep complaints about graphics for the release of the game, you all know what happened with DaS2
This looks more like what I wanted from a Dark Souls 2 than Dark Souls 2 itself. It even has the shitty ragdoll collisions so I can throw my victories around. I cannot be happier with how this looks.
I'll mince up yer brains!
It's gonna be either really cool or really stupid now that enemies talk.
The dude playing just does not pay attention to sounds at all

It's obviously a scripted playthrough, he skips certain obvious stuff to make the viewer want to explore it
MY only fear for this game is that it won't have many unique environments. All we've seen is the gothic city and the randomly generated dungeon.

I'm sure they've come up with something though. Slums, graveyard, castle, hospital, prison, laboratory, clock tower, any of these could fit with the style.
i hope that they're just not showing other environments to keep things a surprise. the souls games are very good at having varied environments and it would suck if bloodborne doesn't follow that.
the game looks amazing though.
Whomever did the sound design on this deserves a fucking award, I haven't been frightened by a sound in a videogame in quite a while, but that bossfight at the end, the first shriek and my hair stood on end.

Dark Souls only showed areas around the Undead Burg, and Dark Souls 2 only showed The Forest of Fallen Giants, Heide, and Huntsman's Copse. I can't remember what Demon's Souls showed but it was probably similarly early areas. From are pretty good and keeping things under wraps.
Oh god I love the little messengers they're adorable.
I can't wait for my pre-order DLC that makes my messengers have little top hats. Completely worth it.

Holy shit that backstab was brutal. He straight up tore the guy apart with his bare hands.
I just had a rough look the footage, going to make sure i enter this blindly since i wont get my hands on it until later on.
After Dark Souls 2 being so... "eh" and the state of the releases from the end of last year, i'm proceeding with caution. Especially with Bloodborne because i'm buying a whole new console for it, it feels like an expensive risk to me to spend all that money, if it proves to be a disappointment.
