This is hilarious, TJ does it again!
This guy is an idiot, he thinks the US president is some magical position able to completely change the way our society works, he's supposed to be a military leader for fucks sake, he barely has any power over anything else, all he can do is propose things to congress and hopes it doesn't get cock blocked because the opposing party has a majority. Seriously, the US isn't going to implode and revert to a caveman society because someone that doesn't like abortion gets into power.
lol no The President's role isn't just to be a military leader. He has a lot more power than just that. Besides, uh, being, the command in chief is still pretty damn important on its own.

Constitutionally, Presidential powers are pretty limited which gives the impression that the position is made out to be more than it is. But really, it isn't because the president does so much more than constitutionally permitted.
He is a hypocrite and e-begger.
Might just be me but I never saw what facepunch saw in this guy. (ron that is)
He is a hypocrite and e-begger.
I don't see what that has to do with his point.
oh this cunt again
He is a hypocrite and e-begger.
an e-beggar!? fucking worse than hitler
The Amazing Atheist is an attention whore and he is just as bad as Ray William Johnson.
Ok whats with all the AA hate? I mean sure we usually get some every video but it was never like this. Is it because he's talking about ron Paul? I mean even if he is an E-begger what does that have to do with the point hes making? edit Instead of rating dumb you could explain your point.
Ron Paul is Americas last hope Obama's a pussy.
why exactly is everyone getting their panties in a bunch this time specifically?
Ron Paul is Americas last hope Obama's a pussy.
Why? He's basically a repubican but against the war on drugs and are current war. Thats pretty sad if are choices are so limited that that is enough to make us his only hope. Basically if people really care about who they are voting for they will look at more then just a handfull of candidates and choose which ones they don't completely hate.
Ron Paul thinks that USA should mind their own business and get their armies home to guard the borders. That's one way to save some money.
Ron Paul thinks that USA should mind their own business and get their armies home to guard the borders. That's one way to save some money.
Yea but so do I. Basically you probably agree with my opinions more times then you would Ron Paul. It means that your willing to deal with all the social conservatism just because sadly hes the only famous candidate that support strangely what most americans alright think. I bet you there are candidates out there that you would agree with more but they don't have the funding to get that well known. Really shows how broken are politics is. But really we are you willing to overlook the social injustices he supports just because you agree with him economically?
Tj's a retard. Someone who has studied medicine AKA a physician is a scientist. Regardless of his moral feelings towards evolution and abortion. This kid's a fucktard.
an e-beggar!? fucking worse than hitler
Yeah fucking begging his viewers for money. I see people selling out to companies, selling t-shirts. They are just sellouts. BUT TJ!? FUCKING E-BEGGER! Even hitler is so pissed he is spinning in his grave.
Tj's a retard. Someone who has studied medicine AKA a physician is a scientist. Regardless of his moral feelings towards evolution and abortion. This kid's a fucktard.
uhhh moral feelings towards evolution? how does that work?
Tj's a retard. Someone who has studied medicine AKA a physician is a scientist. Regardless of his moral feelings towards evolution and abortion. This kid's a fucktard.
I've studied Reptiles but I have not yet earned my Herpetology degree yet, legally I am not a scientist. There's a definition of this, you know? [editline]18th August 2011[/editline]
uhhh moral feelings towards evolution? how does that work?
Anyone who doesn't believe in Evolution is either really stupid or ignorant. End of story. [editline]18th August 2011[/editline]
Ron Paul thinks that USA should mind their own business and get their armies home to guard the borders. That's one way to save some money.
Yeah but at the same time destroy our economy. Awesome. [editline]18th August 2011[/editline]
Actually yes, the president can change many things. He can veto any law he wants and use that as a threat (to the other party/congress members), which Obama has not done. He has almost complete control over the military, which Obama has sparsely used. He can also have huge levee'ing power when it comes to the stock-market, which Obama has yet to practice. Face it, while Obama is a massive pussy at least he's trying to do the right thing (and knows what it is), Ron Paul on the other hand would outright send the US to the feudal ages. We really need a Clinton in the White House, I mean Bill almost completely removed our dept and managed the country well. Fucking secretaries man.
I really love how the past 4 or 5 videos by TJ here have been applauded as being absolutely right, getting winners and agrees, but this one is getting nothing but shit and hate. It's like everyone that dislikes him came out for this video only, and no one that likes him is here this time. I don't always agree with him, nor his "I don't give a fuck" style and blatant cynicism towards the opposing side, but he's not stupid, and in this case I agree with him, mostly. Honestly, I think this is just irking people because he's attacking Ron Paul.

He actually does make a convincing argument, but actually yeah I would take his positions on foreign policy over the risk of him fucking over other things, mainly because I'm in such a red state it doesn't even matter what I vote.

This is the reason why your probably in a red state, all the smart people are so damn pessimistic they never do shit.
The county I (will soon) live in is super duper blue though, I guess I would contribute to the popular vote or something.
Ok whats with all the AA hate?
The exact thing he is complaining about. Plenty of people seem to like him whenever a video is posted or at worst express mild annoyance but then as soon as he insults Ron Paul HOLY SHIT FUCK THAT GUY.
The exact thing he is complaining about. Plenty of people seem to like him whenever a video is posted or at worst express mild annoyance but then as soon as he insults Ron Paul HOLY SHIT FUCK THAT GUY.
Agreed - everything he said in that video is 100% true. All of his other videos that are posted here, people are laughing their asses off - but the minute this video goes up - "SELL OUT SELL OUT BURN THE BASTARD BAD AS RAY WILLIAM JONSON". If it was anyone else, everyone on facepunch would be going "what kind of a moron doesn't believe in evolution?" and "how can you be a scientist if you don't fucking study the sciences?" etc, but because it's ron paul everyone goes "FUCK OFF HE'S OUR MESSIAH".
I know Ron Paul isn't perfect, but I agree with most of his views. I am unsure on the topic of abortion, it raises the question, at what point do the child's rights equal the rights of the mother? And I have heard compelling arguments for and against it. The creationism bit isn't surprising, most republicans seem to be anti-evolution, however this has little to no relevance in politics (unless he attempts to force teachers to teach creationism, which I think would go against his political views). The separation of church and state bit is unnerving, but we haven't ever really had that to begin with. Christianity is, and always has been, heavily ingrained into our political system. So yeah, I know Ron Paul has got his problems, but I think he'll be able to pull our country together. I think he legitimately wants to improve the country, not just his own wallet, and that's impossible to find in our current system. In any case, he's far better than any other republican, and most democrats as well. Maybe he'll be able to talk some sense into congress if he becomes president.
Read the two posts above yours.
yes, it isn't related to mine in any way

The u.s. government is a fat, massive organization with a huge amount of inertia, any politician saying they're going to take washington by storm and make drastic changes is full of shit - it takes colossal effort and compromising to pass any legislation or enact any policies on the federal level, and I just see ron paul as a nice old man with the best of intentions that would get steamrolled if he were made president
Ron Paul 2012! :downs:
