The teenagers who took their own lives after suffering horrific abuse at the hands of Ask.fm bullies as father of latest victim, 14, calls on Cameron to ban controversial website David Cameron was today urged to take action against Ask.fm because five teenagers have killed themselves in the past year after they suffered abhorrent abuse on the website. that is sad but you can hardly blame the website for it
Title's a bit off there.
What is wrong with that Facebook comment? I mean, its rude, but straight to the point. Its not like you can't function without social media.
0/10 title stop
"omg my sister jumped of a bridge because someone on the internet told her so. shut the internet off so we stay safe!!" That's how I see those kind of people. Sure bullying is bad but come the fuck on it's the internet.
All I say to cyber bullying is that the victim is often curious enough to follow through until they get worried-- but it's not like they can't just close whatever they're doing once they reach that point.
Title's a bit off there.
It's the same as the article one except I should have put 'ban'

I agree the internet was perfectly fine until these sensitive pricks got their hands on it.
It's the same as the article one except I should have put 'ban'
You put Last.fm instead of Ask.fm.
You put Last.fm instead of Ask.fm.
Oops lol, could a mod please change it

This argument is so extremely flawed, why is it even included in the OP?
I never understand the logic of users of ask.fm, it's known for being one of the biggest sites for abuse. I mean I don't condone abuse in the slightest, but closing down your account is a good interim measure to give yourself some peace. And it's not even ask.fms fault, do we blame the postal service for abusive and threatening letters? No we blame the people that send them.
Oops lol, could a mod please change it
You can change it yourself by editing your post.
Internet bullying should only be of concern when someone actually gets doxxed and harassed in real life. Otherwise, it's called the fucking block/report button
Who kills themselves because an anonymous user was being mean to them on a website
What is wrong with that Facebook comment? I mean, its rude, but straight to the point. Its not like you can't function without social media.
What do you expect from the daily mail?
I'm curious as to why people still continue posting Daily Mail as it's the same sensationalist bullshit that gets everyone riled up every time.
I still don't get why people take words on a screen so seriously. On the internet. People are complete assholes on the internet just to be assholes, it's how it's always been, and will be. You just laugh at it and move on. Some random person tells you to go die, you don't get upset about that, i mean you don't even know the person and odds are you never will. When it's stated to your face in real life by someone you know, entirely different ballpark - It's directed at you personally. Of course, this is just my take on it. I'm not trying to force opinion.
Or maybe just don't fucking use the website if you don't want people to anonymously send you messages.
A person who is capable of commiting suicide because of the internet should not be on the internet in the first place. In a way it's like toddlers and power sockets, really. Her parents should have seen that coming.
it's the same sensationalist bullshit that gets everyone riled up every time.
But isn't that the point of this entire section?
You can change it yourself by editing your post.
Only for the first 10 minutes
Anyone dying is sad and all but don't give David Cameron yet another excuse to carry out these blocks on the internet.
But isn't that the point of this entire section?
No? This section is for posting actual news articles, it only received the current name when fucking idiots kept sensationalising the articles and headlines they were posting to whore ratings and shit. The name is a joke, it's not literally what this subforum is for.
Well Mr Swaggins has a point If you're getting harassed on the internet wouldn't it be logical to just stop using that website or something? What douchebag puts swaggins in their facebook name anyway
people are killing themselves because "bullies" are saying mean words, via internet from a faceless textbox? what happened to when bulling was having the ever-loving shit kicked out of you? i find this whole situation absolutely ridiculous. this may be harsh, but if she's going to KILL herself, then there is something more to this, she must have SOME kind of mental problem
If I took advice from the internet I would be dead like 30 times now
I was kind of confused on what kind of harassing could you possibly find in last.fm... "nice my chemical romance faggot, kill urself plen"
I still don't get how cyber bullying is a legitimate thing.. I've never understood it; in school they showed us a video and it was basically "u r gay" and then a 10 minute drama about CYB3R TROLLS and how you should be careful on the internet Everything has a block feature now, everything.
