Because it isn't. IW pulled a shit move, they knew it, and tried to cover it by trying to convince us it would stop hackers, give better ping, and be an overall better experience. Too bad the hackers are running rampart, the ping absolutely blows (unless you are the host), and people are getting hell from the actual service.
In a nutshell, IWnet sucks and Dedicated servers have been proven to be the best solution time and time again.
We can only hope they are getting ready to patch it to a CoD4-like state ASAP.

I always have 4 bars, So far there has been no problem for me at least when it comes to multiplayer.
Another great question is: If this system is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO fucking great, why hide the fucking ping? CSS, TF2 and L4D are straightforward about it, couldn't be because their MP system actually works though.
The bad part is even if you do find a server with good connection you're just the lucky one. Everyone else you play with will probably have issues and it still affects your game.

What good does it do to shatter sales records, if your games multiplayer experience is so shitty nobody can play? Stopping hacking too? Sounds like y'all did the opposite in this case.

Gears of War 2 has the same horrible hosting system, yet it still sells a lot.

Who cares, the game is shit so there is no point in worrying about it.
my ping is perfect every game so cry some more, you obviously played a game or two with a bad host, it usually gets switched out to a better one a bit after that happens
