Im about to buy "Waeco ml22", its a Central Door locking system for 2 doors w/o a remote. Do you guys think its hard to build Power door locks in a car ? Because i have no clue about that actualy :/ ... Thanks.
Nope.. mount actuators, connect to lock rod/ cable, run wires to brain, connect power/ground to brain, the end.
And where do i connect the power to ? mhm
Well, it depends on your setup. Most keyless modules will have internal relays built in to provide the proper ground/ positive outputs which run directly to the actuators. From there you'll need +12 and most likely ignition. From the ignition harness is usually the easiest. Ground it with a ring terminal, then, to some good metal, like in the kick panel or something.
Cant i plug the +12V to the battery directly ? mhm Ground to a metal yea i got that. [editline]9th August 2011[/editline] Maybe add a fuse too .. not sure
Yea, you can go directly to the battery if you'd like, but no need to. Make sure to fuse it very close to the battery, if you go that route. No fuse = melted wire if anything goes wrong.
