A lesbian couple in the US have expressed disappointment that their daughter was denied entry to a private school because of her mothers' sexuality. Last month Jill and Tracy Harrison, who were married in Canada in 2006, filled out admission forms to enroll their daughter Olivia, Fox News reports. School officials in Texas thought Tracy was a man so accepted the forms the couple had filled out for enrollment. When the pair attended an information night, the school realised the couple were gay and declined to admit their daughter.
Source: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/7949139/lesbian-couple-denied-schooling-for-their-child [editline]10:06PM[/editline] The principle dun goofed it. Disgusting. May all Homophobes will just disappear from this planet.

This shit is disgusting, and sadly the school is within their rights to do so :sigh:

This might be a private school, but I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to discriminate due to sexual orientation - of the parents, no less. Just as shops aren't allowed to disallow the entrance of costumers because of their race/religion/sex orientation.

Surely the same applies for sexual orientation.
Those moms seem cool.

If they are allowed to discriminate against religion I don't see why they would be unable to discriminate against sexual orientation.
:argh: Stupid people these days. "Oh my god a same sex couple, they must have a demon child!"
Let's just hope the ones that turned them away get what's coming to them. You get what you give to the power of 3. (or is it times 3?)
I'm pretty sure private schools are a business...
Legal distinctions :eng101:
Most private schools are run by church's or Christianity in general. So of course Christians hate gay's so they will decline. Yes it wrong but people just need to accept that this will happen for a while till someone comes in and fucks the church in the ass

Their objection to male Homosexuals makes much more sense if we look at the scriptures, and the OT specifically says that male homosexuals should be put to death.
If it was a private school, then it's understandable. They've nothing against the couple, but they simply disagree with the couple's lifestyle. Opinions are opinions. If it was public school, then this is wrong.
Schools need to man the fuck up and realize not everyone has to have straight parents.
This is why gays shouldn't be allowed to have children. :downs:

It offers them unrealistic illusions of partaking in a 3-some.
Private schools can do whatever the fuck they want.
Religious Flakes for ya
Why would lesbians want to put their child in a Christan school anyway, its better to keep them out of that shit so the future can be a better place with less stone aged beliefs.
This happens all the time. And why did you add
The principle dun goofed it.
?
Homosexual couples shouldn't have children, as they need both a father and a mother figure to get a balanced upbringing. Sorry but that's my stance on it, i'm all fine for gay marriage however.

Just an idiot.
I never said that guys, just from homosexual couples. You can't just have kids going to school and telling people 'I have two mommies', they just wont cope with the shit they will cop. [editline]11:41PM[/editline] It's putting an unnecessary burden on a child, and that is wrong.
