David Cameron has no intention of withdrawing his claim that Donald Trump was “divisive, stupid and wrong” to call for a ban on Muslims entering the US, Downing Street has said.
Despite Trump’s likely confirmation as the Republican presidential candidate, a spokesman for Cameron said the prime minister stood by his comments made in December last year.
It comes after George Papadopoulos, an adviser to Trump, told the Times on Wednesday that he thought Cameron should reach out with an apology or some sort of retraction.
Asked whether Cameron stuck by the comments, a Downing Street spokesman said the prime minister had “no intention of withdrawing his comments, which were made in response to comments that Donald Trump made calling for a ban on Muslims entering the US, that was the context for the PM’s comments”.
No 10 said there would be contact with the Republican and Democrat presidential campaigns, but no plans in the diary for Cameron to meet Trump. Cameron previously met Mitt Romney, the former Republican presidential candidate, when he was running in 2012.
i don't wanna meet trump either I'm afraid the orange is contagious
If it helps Dave, if we do leave the EU then you probably won't be Prime Minister any more, so you won't have to worry about it.
at least he's standing by his promises here
so if he wins the generals, how will this affect UK relations with the US?

Probably not well since if America is stupid enough to elect Trump then it can't be trusted with anything anymore like having military bases in Europe, nuclear bombs, or the like. I wouldn't even trust the Americans enough to run their own country if they decide the best person to represent it is a stupid loudmouthed twat.
Cameron doing something right for once.

Will Cameron make the US Great Britain again and reinstate the British empire

Finally, some good old empire business
If anyone really thinks the UK and its Prime Minister have the balls to not work with who could very possibly be the President at this point is naive. If Trump becomes President your gonna see these two together multiple times.
Just a lot of hot air honestly. Not like id trust a guy who lied to his entire country and was part of the Panama papers.

I wouldn't trust us if we elected a political chameleon whose primary qualification for office is the fact that her husband formerly held it, either. We're kinda fucked either way.
Also, since when are you in Finland?

At least she's not as insane, she's just corrupt and shit. Tories are fine with stuff like corruption, and open adultery is acceptable in the tories (although buggery isn't).
Also, since when are you in Finland?
I'm on official service, I'm meeting with the Finnish president to discuss his terms of surrender to Britain.

I would trust Clinton even less. Has Clinton ever had a government function before that went perfectly fine and didn't end up in a massive scandal or security leak? I don't really recall that.
Don't worry Cameron, you won't be the PM of the country after Trump wins. Trump will be the PM.

It's a little known clause buried in the US Constitution, if they elect Trump they forfeit the right to independence and automatically revert to a colony
