I know this is insanely old, but I recently watched this movie fully for the first time and enjoyed it and wanted to share this moment from it.
The sweetest movie about kidnapping women and forcing them to marry against their will that you'll ever find.
Plus there's a sister named Dorkus and she happens to be the best-looking one. Goes to show you can't judge a person by their name.
This is actually a pretty good movie.

I distinctly remember a scene that was a country / folk version of those dance battle movies. While they're constructing a house. It's great.

Yeah that's hands down the best scene. Those old musicals had some really physical choreography sometimes. Good stuff.
Is this the scene in question? I couldn't find a version with the actual "barn raising" in it too.
