Nope, they just stated that they would add the indians to the multi-player battles.
Although they did state in their daily update thread ([url]http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/topic/53425/t/The-Update.html?page=4[/url]) that the multiplayer campaign would be released before the Napoleon campaign.

I hope the mods out there will not require DLC - that would suck bad. I can't understand why CA won't want to release a traditional expansion like they did with their previous games.
I wonder if they ever add the MP campaign. I hope they don't decide to leave it for an Add-On or something.
