Looks pretty generic but it is only 15 seconds.
In 3 days... [enter text with enigmatic plot info here]... Nope, in 3 days see the full trailer. FU !
This kind of teaser bullshit is such an artificial hype generator, fuck this trend. [editline]6th May 2017[/editline] See you in 3 days for something worth seeing.
" See ya in ... The Next Trailer! " :why: <( Why does the trailer need a trailer?? )
hope this teaser doesn't imply there's gonna be lots of expository dialogue and a big conspiratorial plot

Teaser trailers are the dumbest shit ever. I'm waiting for them to start teasing teaser trailers with 2 second long trailers.
Apparently there's already an extended trailer hanging around, which is interesting because there's nothing on the Warner Bros channel Starts after 0:15
Teaser trailers are the dumbest shit ever. Great if you don't want anything spoiled storywise but want to a get a feel for it and then read reviews if you're not convinced My biggest gripe with most teasers/trailers today is that they are just fucking shoddily cut. You can tell a really interesting story in 1-2min with beautiful footage from a feature film, but they are usually just these action-packed, in-your-face, constantly high energy, pumped up music showing 'whoa cool shots' without connecting them together in a good theme. They're sometimes so similarly cut it's just becoming noise really

Not my fault, it was presented like that. Few years later I watched it expecting that and it blew my mind. I didn't like the theater part, it turned into a usual Tarantino bloodfest instead of a serious movie in those few minutes, but the rest of the movie is just amazing.
Looks super compelling. Really getting tired of the armchair critics' buzzword "Generic" used on everything hyped nowadays

I hope they ditch that soundtrack, though, Blade Runner had a beautiful, atmospheric soundtrack, and while this film doesn't have to be a carbon copy, maybe try to keep the intention, if not the sound, of the original music? Instead of the, y'know, "DUH DAAAAAAAM", "bwaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *SILENCE* of every other "generic" movie nowadays.

Yea I could do without the Hans Zimmer style score but I'm actually really looking forward to this movie, Denis Villeneuve is absolutely one of the best directors in Hollywood right now. Imo all has last 4 films have been some of the very best of their respective years. He's on a roll of making intelligent, pretty different movies and the Bladerunner universe definitely has the potential to let him continue that streak.
Wouldn't judge a whole soundtrack based off of the trailer.
Yeah, it wasn't supposed to come across like that. I hope the movie's good, and if the rest is good, I'm not gonna complain too much about the soundtrack, even if it ends up generic. Liked Arrival a lot, so yeah.
That soundtrack sure ain't Vangelis 😷
You do realize that 99% of the time the trailer music does not reflect the music that's in the film right? People like Thomas J. Bergersen and Nick Phoenix come up with music specifically for trailers. Jóhann Jóhannsson is the composer and he's the same guy that did the soundtrack for Arrival. I think the soundtrack is going to be great. Don't let trailer music throw you off with thinking that's the actual soundtrack.
