I love Halo but after the disappointment that was reach I probably wont get the newest one
I love Halo but after the disappointment that was reach I probably wont get the newest one
the "newest one"? it's just halo:ce with a better graphics engine, and it promises nothing more so idk why that has anything to do with reach being a disappointment to you
I didn't really like that trailer. I prefered the ODST and Reach trailers, this one just doesn't seem like Halo.
I don't think anyone thought Reach was a disappointment?
I did
I love Halo but after the disappointment that was reach I probably wont get the newest one
what was wrong with reach? it had a semi-interesting story (stories shouldnt be the main focus of shooters unless said shooter is a RPG like fallout or mass effect) and great multiplayer, i didnt find a single thing wrong with it.
I really feel like playing through the series. I've been avoiding them out of subconscious habit, but I remember enjoying many parts of Combat Evolved all those years ago and I found it presented itself nicely. Now that the game series is wrapped up, perhaps its time for me to finally give it a go?
I don't think anyone thought Reach was a disappointment?
Sure the gameplay was good but from a story point of view it was pretty disappointing.
They priced this game reasonably too, it's $40.
Halo: Reach's main disappointment came from if you read the books. It broke the canon too much. But it still was a great game.

Halo Reach was a very fun game and the multiplayer/forge was top-tier - however, the story for the campaign, which as a fan of the books I was looking forward to the most, was a huge let down. Don't get me wrong, the campaign was a blast to play, but they could have told a much better tale.

I loved Reach's gameplay as well. I like how in every new Halo game they seem to be focusing more on trying to tell a story rather than just have it be a run and gun kill all aliens kind of thing. Yea ODST might have been boring as hell but you got a really interesting story around it. Halo: Reach was by no means a disappointment.
now make a pc version!
Immortal, on sector D
I was waiting for someone to come running down the middle of the formation with a sludge hammer, and throwing it at that old fuck
