• 1996 Ford Explorer Speaker Problem

OK, so my grandmother had this 1996 Ford Explorer Eddie Bower Edition sitting around so I bought it off her for a couple hundred dollars. I've been driving it around the past few days and its been great. Today, I noticed an odd sound coming from the rear of the car and decided to try and figure out the problem. Turns out, the right, furthest back speaker (from the drivers seat) is making a huge overpowering bass noise. Not a music bass but almost as though it's blown out. So, my question is what replacement speakers should I purchase and if anyone could give me some resources on how to install the speaker, that would be awesome, gotta have this baby ready for summer. Thanks Facepunch
Well you could check your ground on the speaker, if I am correct that might cause it, or that might be computer speakers.
That sounds like the membrane is blown. I doubt you can find the original speakers for replacement so you'll probably have to go with aftermarket stuff.
Yeah, just do yourself a favour and replace everything with aftermarket parts.
