Wesley Snipes wants to return as Blade and kill the Twilight kids
That said, we’re now a decade out from Blade: Trinity’s failure, and with Snipes’ issues sorted out, it’s not too surprising that the actor wants to step back into the boots of his most iconic role to date. Of course, the question is, would fans welcome back a now 51-year-old Snipes into the Blade role? If the actor’s latest creative idea for the character comes true, fans will likely greet him with open arms.
Snipes offered the following proposal during a recent interview with EW.
‘Blade’ chasing the ‘Twilight’ kids around? Hey man, there’s always a possibility, and I’m open to it. There have been rumors around that we may explore the opportunity, so give me one more shot!
As for the overall prospect of returning to the superhero movie game, Snipes expanded upon his feelings in a different interview with MTV.
I’d love to get back in the suit again and do some things I’ve learned how to do now that I didn’t know how to do then. I think we’re better at making that kind of a film now. Some of the things we did in the early parts of the franchise were experimental and now they’ve become customary in a lot of the ‘Avengers’ films and other comic book adaptations.
This is bringing back the hate-Twilight-nostalgia from a few years back.
Yes kill all the sparkly ones
I would love it if Marvel rebooted the series and had him in the movie continuity. Blade really was the first successful comic book movie adaption. And I could see Blade leading the way for Marvels more mature source material (aka The Punisher).
Hopefully it won't be another Blade 3.
I'd be down with it.
I want to see Blade as an antagonist for Michael Morbius in an Amazing Spider-Man film.

They ain't even vamps, mang. They're just some other crappy variety of undead that would be laughed out of a D&D manual.
Bros like Kain, Dracula, Count frikkin' Orlok, THEY are vamps. And they are awesome.
I'd love to see blade back, especially if he was slicing up some "vampires" covered in glitter being all emo.
It's amazing to look at del Toro's drawings and see the amount of work that went into designing the Reapers. Cool movies.
I hope they reboot Blade soon.
Though if he were to be Blade in a world where vampires are sparkly, wouldn't that mean he would be partly sparkly as well, being half-vampire? The images of Wesley Snipes with glitter sprinkled all over his stoic, unmoving face is a deeply amusing one, indeed.

By "issues", do they mean his prison sentence? How wonderfully euphemistic :v:
oh yes please...

probably meant the fact that he was a huge asshole on the set of blade 3 but yes also his prison time

Nosferatu. The marfan syndrome albino pointy eared man. Or Vampire for his friends.
I don't think Snipes could carry the film by himself at his age. Me thinks have it where Blade had a son and they work together?
Also I loved the Blade movies, I'd definitely go watch a reboot.

Blood was sucked out of my automerge
I can't recall why but I do remember Blade 3 being rather bad, the first 2 are great though.
he should return to prison
I didn't even know Blade 3 was badly made to everyone else. I rather enjoyed them all. I'm already excited there might be another.
That would be worth it to see just for the hilarity of the concept alone.

The Marvel films are generic capeshit movies though. That's why I like what Fox is doing with the X-Men franchise. Spiderman could be better but the only Marvel film I've really enjoyed was Iron Man.
As long as they don't ruin the punisher. Best hero.
The Punisher: War Zone was pretty good.

I had no idea Blade was a Marvel character. Explains why the world felt so nicely fleshed out from what I remember of the first one
Twilight and hating Twilight isn't even relevant anymore.
Twilight does make a great comedy, it's obvious it's fanfiction tier and the lines spoken and shit that happens are absolutely ridiculous. Also the scenery of NW US is really nice

lol what? you're like a decade late on that at minimum

alex i'll take "who is superman" for 2000
He was the first successful Comic Book adaption post-Batman and Robin.
Happy?

He's aged fairly well, and is still relatively youthful for the martial arts.
