[release]"I come back with a knife. I hit her several times. She screamed my name, I decapitated her. Quite a feat, huh? And I'm not crazy." Just like every morning, Philippe Cousin, postmen overseer, got out of the bed early to bake his wife's breakfast. A few moments later, if he hadn't killed her, he would have left the car running idle so she wouldn't catch a cold in her car while driving to work. On April 16th, 2007, this flawless husband came back in his bedroom with a butcher knife, and in a wide circular move, he severed his wife's head. An exceptional crime which will be judged on March 8th and 9th, 2010 by Arras' court. Unexpected drama on a trouble-less - in appearance - relationship.
When the policemen knocked at his door, Quatre-Crosses street, in the center of Arras, Phillipe Cousin warmly welcomed them: "sorry for all that work I'm giving you". A few minutes earlier, he had called the police center "sorry for disturbing you, sir, but I killed my wife".
Phillipe and Nicole met 25 years earlier while on a temporary job. He's 26, she's 23. Between the 180cm-tall athletic-nerdy guy, and the lady with a well-defined temper, it's love at first sight. A few months later, they buy a home together at Provins. Then, in 1986, it's their wedding. Between week-ends spent bicycling and holidays on alpine countryside excursions, they both prepare themselves for their postmen overseer which they will obtain. Then, they buy an apartment at Arras.
"She's deep within my self, I love her"
However, behind all of this, frustrations keep stacking up, poisoned silences. "I feel like I'm being eaten alive", he'll say. In life and in his relationship, he's not advancing joyfully. His work colleagues, his family, everyone describes him as a weak and submissive man in the claws of an authoritative and impulsive woman. And there's that shameful secret; even 21 years after his wedding, he never had any sexual relations with her wife. His husband will later confess that she refused any vaginal penetration. And is he himself a virgin? The only time he ever "cheated" on her never went above cuddling. He claimed that Nicole had a phobia, which was about transmitting one of his father's faulty genes to her offspring.
An obsession. Have a child. He was dremaing about a little girl : "I already have the name chosen: Charlotte!" he'll say after the murder, while whispering he most certainly is "docile". Getting smacked day after day by her's wife refusals will progressively break the nice-postman mentality. He can't stand anything anymore. Then, one day, she tells him, in front of the whole family, that she wants to break up. We all know what happened next...
Ever since, Philippe, who lost 8 kilograms in jail, cries for his wife, of whom ke keeps wearing the ring. "She is deep within me, I love her", he keeps saying. Incapable of explaining his act.[/release]
Pardon me for the bad spelling and dodgy grammar at some times, I rushed the translation :ohdear:
How romantic.
I love the way this guy speaks, he would make an amazing villain
now that is giving head.
Seems like she drove him to do it.
Creepy pic.
Decapitation certainly isn't a way to get ahead in life.
That wife sounded like a bitch though.
What a weird fucking thing to do.
Edit:
PEOPLE KEEP RATING ME HEARTS I DON'T KNOW WHY
He sounds like a nice man to me, He looks like my schools janitor though

And killing isn't...
Battered Wife Syndrome isn't funny.
This is why you don't bottle up your emotions, because one day, you'll get up like every normal day and the next thing you know, you've chopped off someone's head in one strike.

Get a divorce. Don't cut her fucking head off.
What a weird fucking thing to do.
Not really.
Let's make a comparison: a woman is with a man for 25 years. He forces her to have sex all the time, regularly assaults her, but will not allow her to have the children she so desperately wants. He is the strong, impulsive one, she is weak and docile. Naturally, he takes advantage of her state. Eventually, she wakes up one morning and simply cannot bear the thought of another day like this, so she kills her abusive husband. Her friends, family, and dare I say, half the world, call her a hero for defeating her abusive husband.
This this guy enters the picture. Though abused in the more subtle way women abuse people, he nonetheless was controlled and dominated (and the threat of a nasty divorce causing him to lose much of what he has looming over his head doesn't help). His mind eventually hits the breaking point and he kills her. He knows it's wrong, but he can't do anything about it.
Anyone who has ever snapped like that understands this man: he didn't mean to be impolite, his mind simply was unable to bear the pain, and did the work for him. It likely would have taken weeks for him to finally feel something... the brain has a pleasant habit of holding back the pain until you are ready to deal with it.
But this man will be regarded as a villain. Why? Because he shouldn't have been such a pussy, or because he should have been the better man, etc etc. No one will understand what he went through, because men and women are indeed not quite equal.
Cheers to a man who ended a lifetime of oppression. I hope they go easy on him.
On a side note, 25 years of no pussy? He might as well have been in jail the whole time.

Slicing another human's head off isn't normal.
Decapitation certainly isn't a way to get ahead in life.
I'm pretty sure he did get a head from this.
The guy's only mistake was not covering up the murder.
Sheesh... amateurs
Look's like he'll be heading to jail for a long time,
Hopefully, the judge won't cut him some slack.
I knew that was coming.
Good for you, Slim shady.
