So it turns out I got one level below a C (a D) in GCSE English Language and my next College rejected me (was my original high school but is a College also). After some time I'm going to a completely new Sixth Form / College for 16-19 year old students. Currently I only know two or three of my old friends are going to this college and I was wondering if there are any Facepunchers going to this college in the next 2 weeks when School starts. College info: -Some company / Government gave them about £60,000,000 or so budget in building this college -In the first year there will be about 2 computers to every student (about half of which are Macs -Current progress -I will only know two or three people and I'm shit at making friends (Lurkers agree if you are going though I doubt it.)
When I started college I lost touch with all my high school mates (even though some of which actually went to that college) so don't worry about it, it's one of those moments in your life where you start fresh. Basically you will make new mates, regardless if you are "shit at making friends" which translates to "shy."
I will only know two or three people and I'm shit at making friends
don't worry about this. it'll just happen.
Go bang some college chicks
College was the best time of my life. Everyone says University is the best time, but I've done a whole year of that and so far, college was way better. As for the friends thing, it depends on what college you go to, but in general they are pretty tight packed, like a school more than a university, so don't worry, you will probably find friends in classes. As for the facepuncher thing, try putting a facepunch logo on a public noticeboard somewhere with your username on it, any true FP'er would notice the logo and PM you about it.

Thanks guys. I feel much better and I might try that Jallen.
-I will only know two or three people and I'm shit at making friends
Seriously don't worry. when I started college I literally knew no one and it worked out fine. Just remember that there are probably loads of other people who are in the same shoes as you and who are feeing the same way. Just relax.
