That's one raid.
April 19, 2013
Yeah, this was to search for an armed and dangerous terrorist.
Practice for when they come to take everyone's guns :tinfoil:
WAKE uP SHEPPle
It's the clown car of houses.
I was expecting more than one house. And a news site.
its not even a raid. Its a consensual search.
Can't help but enjoy watching organized police action like this.
its not even a raid. Its a consensual search.
It's either a consensual search or falls under exigent circumstances exception. Judging by the slight hostility i'm guessing the later. In this case you either consent to a search, or they go in anyway. No warrant needed. Though from what I understand they would not be able to seize any of your property not related to the hunt for the terrorist. Go to exceptions to warrant rule: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/4th_Ammendment Like it or not these searches were legal. This is aimed at the person that posted the video on youtube if it's the same one I saw last night trying to say they were illegal searches and taking away our freedoms and such. They were legal searches.
I'm impressed, barely two days and people are already taking these videos out of context for their conspiracy bullshit.
During that situation, i'm completely okay with this. During NORMAL circumstances though, this would be wrong. But comon guys, we have to take into consideration the context...
It is bullshit they did this, 4th amendment out the window going door to door raiding homes. And no it was far from "consensual" they came to your door said let us in you say no, they come back in 3 minutes with a rubber stamped warrant and say let us in. The para-militarization of the US police forces is ridiculous and not a good thing.
