I believe he still does teach the occasional class at MIT, I have no idea what they're like.

He's teaching or has recently taught a series of guest lectures in California. I assume it's at Berkeley and/or for an online class. He still has an office at MIT.

Actually, at the pinnacle of his popularity he was seen as the antidote to that. In philosophy he's kind of a counterpoint to the modern conception of theory. He's the guy who wasn't arcane and complicated, the guy who stood up for household concepts like human nature against more deliberately complicated and intersubjective genres of philosophy espoused by philosophers like Foucault.

That's what always made me enjoy Chomsky more than certain other leftists, who insist that unless I'm willing to sit through a two hour discourse on Hegel that I'm just another classcucked libtard.
