Has anybody tried to walk through the entire game without taking a damage? Playing not for the speed but to avoid bullets and kill before getting hit. Scripted sequences do not count, because you cannot avoid it, but otherwise, Freeman should not take any damage.
I think it is possible to do that. I'm gonna try and make videos of it.
What are your thoughts? Which parts of the game you think will be impossible to walk through without taking a damage?
General notes:
- this is not a speed run, but I've tried to be reasonably fast, skipping many "side quests" and not killing everyone
- cutscenes are fast forwarded
- each segment (level transition/quickload) is clearly marked in the video with an icon
- no hacks or cheats, hard difficulty
- limited use of exploits (documented if used), but skipping large parts of the level is not allowed

Between 6:10 en 6:13 in the video 'Chapter 3: ROUTE KANAL 1/2 -' a bloodstain appeared on the ground. How did that happen?
I beat HL2 on the Xbox - this was before I had enough money for a decent computer - and could never be bothered to do another run through. The combine are boring enemies.
Isn't really a ''no damage run'' since he didnt do it in one run. He just edited together parts where he didnt take damage. He even mentioned it himself, whenever he cuts to another clip theres a scissor in the top left corner.

The last time I played rollermines fucked you up if they attached to your car. Not just the jumping bit but they always hurt you when they made the car go nuts.

Ive tried doing something like this in half life 1 got to the part where you get to teleported to xen without taking any dmg that was on hard i think after that i got stuck.
