Have you ever dreamt of having an all-in-one gaming machine that consolidates a full gaming PC with your favorite consoles? Well, the designers at Origin PC have, and today announced the introduction of The Big O; a high-power gaming PC that features a built-in Xbox 360. Each PC comes with a built-in Xbox 360 'Slim', which can be played while the PC is running other tasks and software, and supports all of the same connections and features of a full console. While the built-in Xbox 360 is certainly the biggest selling point of The Big O, it is actually one of the fastest gaming rigs available. The entry level version of the system features an overclocked 4.0GHz Intel Core i7 930 processor, a liquid cooled Rampage III Extreme motherboard, dual NVIDIA GTX 480 GPUs, 6GBs of memory, dual 50GB SSD drives, a 2TB hard drive, Creative Fatal1ty sound card, and built-in Blu-ray burner. Sounds expensive? It is; Origin has priced the base configuration at $7,669. If that wasn't enough to break your bank, The Big O is also offered in the configuration used by CPU Magazine, which features dual Intel Xeon X5680 processors overclocked to 4.3GHz, an EVGA SR2 motherboard, liquid cooling, quad SLI EVGA GTX 480 GPUs, 12GBs of memory, four 50GB SSD drives, two 2TB hard drives, a built-in Blu-ray burner, and a built-in 8 channel HD audio sound card, at a price of $16,999. Have the cash to shell out for Origin's gaming powerhouse? The company is now taking custom orders for The Big O starting today via their official website. Meanwhile you could buy all of that gear and have your gaming computer sitting next to your 360 sitting on top of your blu-ray player, likely for closer to 2 grand. Stupid people with too much money will buy this though.
I don't think any sane rich guy would get this. EDIT:Honestly $7,669 is alot of money for this useless thing.
SR-2 is the sexiest motherboard ever
Too expensive
The entry level version is hella ridiculous. Why the fuck would someone use an i7 for gaming?
But for that price you could buy 2 computers and 4 xbox's...
7K? You could probably build your own like that for a lot less.

how about I just duct tape my 360 to my computer? [editline]06:40PM[/editline] lol^
ill use it to heat my house in the winter
The most expensive space heater in the world.
I would buy it if it was a PS3.
I wonder how big your e-peen would be if you are stupid enough to purchase one of those...
I would buy it if it was a PS3.
For $7669, I would only buy it if it was an Xbox, PC, PS3, blowjob machine, and made sandwiches whenever I wanted one.
For $7669, I would only buy it if it was an Xbox, PC, PS3, blowjob machine, and made sandwiches whenever I wanted one.
Not sure if I want blowjobs and sandwiches from the same machine.
inb4 Lawsuit
Better be a damn good sandwich.
$8k? How about you do this. Buy an xbox360, a gaming PC, and a 40inch TV to go with all that. Hook it all up and fucking play. You'll spend about the same as that fucking box of "LOL WE'RE NOT IN RECESSION"
SR-2. Drool.
Finally, now I can scratch my PC discs as well!
They called it an Origin? That's a direct insult to the SGI Origin line.
That website makes Alienware look cheap as FUCK They want $1,700 for an AMD Phenom II 3.2ghz Processor... That's like a $140 Processor... fuck them. The FUCK are these guys thinking? And for their super PC with 4 GTX480's and 12GB of RAM they want 17 Grand I have the same processor, and my entire PC Cost $816, HALF of what they want for just the god fucking damn processor?! And this was 9 Months ago when I bought it 3.2ghz Quad 4Gigs of DDR3 RAM 320Gig HD HD5750 w/ 1GIG DDR5 VRAM 5 Fans, a Nice Case, CD/DVD Writer On New Egg you can get their 17 Grand PC for just 5 Grand Fuck Fuck Fuck these guys. If people have that kind of cash to blow, it's because they make smart financial decisions, and these guys have prices that are probably actually criminal, even their cheapest PC costs more than double what you can get it for over at NewEgg or CyberpowerPC
I'd get it if I was rich. It's some powerful shit. You guys are just complaining because it's better than your current computer and you're too poor to get it.
only a fucking idiot would buy this
7k for that? haha get out. For that money I'd better get a mac if was going to waste it on useless crap.
What the hell, if it is suppose to be a gaming rig why did they put a 360, for the good specs gotta go with the PS3.
Wow! A built in Xbox 360! Now I can be a cool PC user and a douchebag 360 user at the same time! And honestly, the Big O sounds like a fucking worthless piece of shit. Who the hell needs that much memory? 12GB of RAM, 4TB in hard drive space? Holy fucking shit. That isn't worth it. I could buy a fucking car for that, and you wouldn't even use half the capabilities of that PC. I have an i7 920 and Crysis and Crysis Warhead don't even use 50%. And RAM, I have Windows Vista and I don't even use half of my 6GB of RAM. This computer is so expensive it's worthless.
it is obviously made for people who have the cash to blow, stop whining that it is out of your price range.
You're better off taking an XBOX360, taking it apart and building it into your machine.
I don't think any sane rich guy would get this. EDIT:Honestly $7,669 is alot of money for this useless thing.
And yet sane rich guys buy a mac(pro... or whatever the most expensive thing is from apple) for that much.
