Who here remembers when this was a mod for BF1942?
*raises hand*
Brought back some good memories, even though I didn't play much.
One of the best HL2 mods. I am glad they are still going. At one point, it looked that the whole project ended. I guess other people got their hands on it, and continue.
i thought the switched over to unreal? or am i dumb
does it still have shit collision models and poor game design

Somewhat, but there's still a fun game hiding behind all it's flaws.
Have they added air units yet?

Nope.

I do. It was awesome. Wake island had that huge spaceship floating above the ocean instead of the carriers.
I've played the mod on and off, I'm glad to see it live on.
I wish it would get on steam. I can't be bothered to get it the old way.

This mod is more entertaining than any mod that steam put on the store.

I think they said something about Steamworks release, but I'm not sure.
I've always loved this mod, but it's always been plagued by occasional player shortages. It has a ton of potential if they get a good dedicated team back together. Haven't played myself in a really long time.
Parallax mapping? Sweet. This is the first mod I've seen to actually use it outside of a tech demo.
This mod was awesome as fuck, but I stopped playing it..

Your thinking of Eternal Silence for 1942, Empires released with nothing but custom maps, FLOT7, Helios and Desert Valley.
