I was playing indoor soccar and when I was the keeper, I dove for the ball and landed hard upon the concrete on my right elbow. We're talking serious fall damage, It hurt alot but 2 minutes later it's ok. I'm able to move my arm in any direction without pain. But when I touch it, it feels like an indenture or something missing, unlike my other elbow, so I believe I chipped it. But should I see a doctor?
Now I've only had two other injuries. When I was in the 7th grade I landed awkwardly on my right ankle and I couldnt walk on it at all for two weeks. I never told my parents and never saw a doctor, I walked on it in the weirdest fashion, today my ankle is fine. Another injury is when I couldnt sit down for longer that 3 seconds. I believe my coccys was broken or something, it took 3 years to heal and I never asked a doctor about it. This is why I ask if it's necessary to see a doctor? IN the meantime i'm making a self made sling and see what happens. Anyone else with a similar story or have not visited a doctor with a physical injury?
I would go to the Doctors to get it checked out. Just to be on the safe side.
Don't be a tough-guy, get it checked out.
Be a tough guy, break the whole arm.
Then self amputate it.
if you don't get a doctor to check it, your arm could be restricted on movement.
Although I doubt it was chipped (you realize how silly that sounds) I recommend going to see a doctor.
"Check up or check out"
no dont check it im sure the bone chip couldnt possibly cause any harm in later life yeah itll probably just dissolve bones do that when they break off they wont block arteries or travel to your brain or anything like that
Did you roll 6's?
Yeah, you'll be fine. But if your arm really starts swelling up, go to a Doctor immediately, don't bother making a post on Facepunch about it either.
Go to your doctor. It might be fine now, but later on you could have some complications. You really never know.
Jesus man, you didn't see a doctor for a broken coccyx?
yeah that happened to my dad, he shattered part of his elbow.
he never went to the doctor. he's fine. you can still feel the pieces of shattered bone floating around in there, along with the big dent.
Wait Yeah, You couldn't sit down for more than 2 seconds FOR THREE YEARS??

I bought a coccyx pillow and brought it around wherever I sat like this:

Made it so nothing could put pressure on it
I'd say go to the doctor. If you really did break something and it sets wrong, you'll likely have to get it broken again and reset properly anyways, so you might as well just risk it being in a cast once.
Don't go to the doctor about it. They charge too much. Here, come to my house and I'll have the chainsaw waiting.
But no. Seriously, go get it checked to be safe.
Walk it off tough guy
1. Go to doctor
2. Get X-Ray
3. Abuse narcotic pain relievers.
That would hurt.
A lot.
Unless you've got a handy supply of heroin at your disposal go see the goddamn doctor.

That doesn't sound silly at all.
Go see a doctor.
Be a man, tough it out.
And die a slow painful death...
Alone...
:frown:
I suggest you see a doctor to be safe, especially with that weird 3-second sitting condition (maybe you're sitting on your spine).

It is in my personal opinion that you see a doctor. However I feel like I'm getting somehow trolled when I read that. Just saying.
We are not doctors, most of facepunch is 12.

Feel better.
I hit something once and my pinky finger became very short. I tugged on it and it popped back out and so I figured it was some sort of weird dislocation but was all good now. After going to work my hand was killing me for the entire night. After getting off work I went in to the OR and they x-rayed the wrist and found that one of the bones in my hand broke off and was floating in my wrist. I was advised by two different teams of doctors that if I did not have surgery to fix the problem that my hand would stop working right and would become a useless claw. I ended up having the surgery and my hand has been fine ever since.
Just food for thought, maybe a bone chip in the elbow won't do anything like that at all. What would be the harm in seeing a doc?

Are you Really Stupid, or do you not have insurance? Christ.:Dawkins102:
If you need to ask Facepunch if you should go to the doctors/take your pet to the vet/whatever, do it. Don't ask us.
