A dark and exploratory adventure into the deepest depths of human hedonism.
Amazing.
Gonna LP this as a joke. See how long I can make it last.
I have never been more moved by a video game.
Riveting gameplay, amazing story line and plot is one of a kind.
I actually cried. What a stunningly beautiful experience.
Subtle masterpiece, filled me with riches I couldn't possibly fathom
holy shit that was amazing
Best indie game to date. 10/10
I am now enlightened.
This is truely the Height of PC Gaming as we know it.
Curious to know why so many hated Gone Home, because I can't for the life of me find much wrong with it at all.
From someone who loved Gone Home, I found this funny.
Immense character development. I was astonished by the twist.
Am I the only one who didn't like this? I thought it was too pretentious. It's just a game trying too hard to be "artistic" by having a "super deep" and cheap emotional story to give you feels. So pretentious. You don't do anything but walk around and press buttons on your keyboard. It's boring. The devs are just a bunch of pretentious schmucks. It's nothing innovative or original. Tired of this pretentious shit that seems to get all the attention and perfect ratings. Agree if you hate all these indie games being so pretentious.
0/10 too pretentious. I thought you guys would have better taste. smh

I guess it's because it's not really a "game", like Dear Esther it's more like a interactive novel. There's no real gameplay to speak off, like puzzle solving and such.
Story is great and all, it's a neat experience, but it isin't a good game because it wasn't really a game... If you get what I'm saying.
I want to clarify, I'm not hating on Gone Home, just sharing my opinion.

I think it's nice and all, but I'm not paying $20 for it.
Yep. That's pretty much it.
Spoiler: your brother is gay

it should be free for what it is. Paying anything is just a scam
Yeah, I get movies and books for free, and those don't even have any interactivity. Oh wait.
guys how can i like a video game without guns and big explosions and vroom vroom cars...

This is why the terms "game" and "gameplay" are fucking awful. A part of me wishes it was called something different like "interactive media" or anything of the same effect, just to stop people from saying things like this. You can hate on Dear Esther and Gone Home all you want because their story doesn't really hold up as much as people say they do, but I don't really agree with hating on them because they're not "games"
