A listing for Sonic Adventure 2 has appeared on the official Xbox site, complete with a handful of screenshots (one with some PlayStation buttons!) and a description. The listing was pulled from the US Xbox.com, though the UK version has yet to be taken down. No downloads are available but, given that the port doesn't even officially exist yet, that's not surprising. The listing claims the game features all of Sonic Adventure 2's original content, Chao Gardens and all, now in high definition. Given Sega has already re-released the originalSonic Adventure, it only makes sense that the sequel would be as well. We've contacted Sega to learn more.
yesssssssssssssssssss
Already own it for the Dreamcast and Gamecube, but this is still nice :p
Already own it for the Dreamcast and Gamecube, but this is still nice :p
i dont have my dreamcast anymore and my friend scratched my disc to oblivion while losing the case for the gamecube so this is nice.
Played the first one on the XBOX Arcade, pretty good memories.
holy fuck i loved this game
I still play this on gamecube from time to time. Getting all the emblems is just impossible even if you have a guide.
I don't know about the single player in this game, but the multiplayer is the worst thing ever.
I don't know about the single player in this game, but the multiplayer is the worst thing ever.
Sonic games are never about the multiplayer
I see this thread literally as I'm listening to City Escape.
Believe me or not; is my favorite video game of all time. I remember owning a poster of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, wanting that game so bad even before I owned a gamecube. Possibly they'll bring new life to the multi-player, with Chao and all. Maybe Sega will make Sonic Adventure 3.

I believe achievements for the game were leaked sometime ago, actually, though I remember this info coming from a sonic fansite and those can be unreliable. Still, I hope this means we'll be seeing this soon on Xbox, PC, and more. (I'm saying PC because Jet Set Radio and the four other Dreamcast games have been released for it before).

Oh, Sonic Adventure. Some good memories <3
I hope the Green Hill Zone stage will still be unlockable.
In the very first mission, riding the fucking piece of metal from the helicopter down the streets. SO FUN.
I hope this episode will be released on Steam too.
Please put it on Steam with good controls... PLEASE... When the DC came out, this and Sonic Adventure 1 were those dreaded games I wanted the most out of anything in the world.

Hopefully the inclusion of this term actually means they updated the game. Honestly I was a bit disappointed with DX; it hasn't aged well, not much was done with the original game when it was ported, and it didn't even include the Gamecube version's exclusives. Luckily, I think they know what they're doing this time.
City Escape is the best level in the game, IMO. The song, the run down the streets, the truck... IT ALL WORKS.
My favourite sonic game yay
I only played Sonic adventure 2 battle did sonic adventure 2 lack anything major that battle didn't?

From what I know very few console games are even 720p, is the fact this is very old make that different?
Time to dust off my XBOX then
I think SA2 was probably the last decent sonic game, good to see it alive again in some form.
I think SA2 was probably the last decent sonic game, good to see it alive again in some form.
I found Shadow the Hedgehog fun as fuck.
Would it actually be full HD? From what I know very few console games are even 720p, is the fact this is very old make that different?
AFAIK the xbox360 can't even do 1080p, only 720p and 1080i.
Isn't it 300p upscaled to different reses
From what I've seen it's usually rendered at about 600p and then upscaled http://forum.beyond3d.com/showthread.php?t=46241
