The National Security Strategy to be released on Monday will emphasize the importance of balancing energy security with economic development and environmental protection, according to a source who has seen the document and shared excerpts of a late draft. “Climate policies will continue to shape the global energy system,” a draft of the National Security Strategy slated to be released on Monday said. “U.S. leadership is indispensable to countering an anti-growth, energy agenda that is detrimental to U.S. economic and energy security interests. Given future global energy demand, much of the developing world will require fossil fuels, as well as other forms of energy, to power their economies and lift their people out of poverty.”
Nice, real nice. Hearing about this stuff is flatly depressing. Climate change is going to affect me in a big way when I'm older, yet I can't do a thing about it because I don't have the billions of USD required to actually make political change. I hope this administration burns in Hell after they make us quite literally burn in this world.
So how about that impeachment vote that's been floating around like hot air?
These old fucks need to be tried for their crimes before they die of old age and their wealth empire dismantled to repair the immense damage they caused.
So how about that impeachment vote that's been floating around like hot air?
If the democrats do well in the mid-terms, we may see an impeachment attempt as early as late 2018. But as others have pointed out, it's much better to wait for Mueller to finish his investigation before attempting to remove Trump from power.
I'll just leave this here as usual U.S. Department of Defense - Report on National Security Implications of Climate-Related Risks and a Changing Climate
III. Conclusion The Department of Defense sees climate change as a present security threat, not strictly a long-term risk. We are already observing the impacts of climate change in shocks and stressors to vulnerable nations and communities, including in the United States, and in the Arctic, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and South America.
Isn't puerto rico still without clean water and electricity?
Isn't puerto rico still without clean water and electricity?
Who needs any of that after His Great Orangeness blessed the people with a pack of thrown toilet paper! Can the rest of the world publicly denounce us again for denying climate change, please? Because this utterly ridiculous.
I'm growing more and more convinced that the trump administratiom is a literal supervillian.
When will it be revealed that there is an organization of billionaires that are purposely teying to destroy the world so that they can have the ruins to themselves and finally enjoy their rum and coke on the fresh new beaches of Orlando without the unwashed masses there to spoil their view I already came to the conclusion that Russia might purposely be trying to accelerate climate change in order to open up Siberia for permanent settlement and to melt the Arctic to expose its resources. Maybe there are some money-minded wads out there that have the same idea.

Or, they genuinely dont believe it because life is easier without having to accept an uncomfortable truth.
This should be considered a crime against humanity, because it is.
You'd almost think this administration was actively TRYING to destroy the world.
I'm growing more and more convinced that the trump administratiom is a literal supervillian.
Just as greedy and selfish, that's for sure.
I can see the retrospective now: "I was the greatest president of all time; less than a year into my presidency global warming was no longer a threat to national security"
How does he still have support?
How does he still have support?
Because people have been cowed into thinking they have to support him. That, or they think they've 'lost' if they stop supporting him. Or they've just stopped paying attention to news that doesn't tell him he's doing a good job. Or even worse, think that it doesn't matter what he does because 'this is hilarious and I don't want my favorite TV show to end'.
How does he still have support?
The only people left that openly support Trump are either willfully ignorant of shit like this because it benefits them in some way or they don't believe its even real. #FAKENEWS #MAGA
How does he still have support?
Amongst all americans he doesn't and Republicans only want him as a rubber stamp to pass their garbage tax policies

Remove this man.
Well duh, the new threat to our national security is obviously going to be the refugees created from the effects of climate change.
I mean technically global warming is an international threat but still...
Well duh, the new threat to our national security is obviously going to be the refugees created from the effects of climate change.
Or maybe the global instability caused by widespread famine, moving refugee populations, and decreased economic stability is likely to manke many regions of the world tinderboxes?
i can’t wait for me and my fellow islanders to fucking drown before the big boys to the North finally figure out how fucking retarded they are
