Skip to 3:20 for stupidity Ok honestly, this kid makes money wasting resources and destroying things that a lot of people want really bad so I don't really want him to have more views, but this video is so stupid I had to share.
dude should have known better than to start smashing a lithium battery lithium kinda has a bad relationship with air
"michael" "wut" "get some febreze or something"
Fucking dickhead
that phone is near $1000 brand new and he just smashed it with a hammer. I think my bank account is hurting
I love how he acts at first as if he's doing some sort of scientific test of the phone's physical defenses.
I love how he acts at first as if he's doing some sort of scientific test of the phone's physical defenses.
"i have concluded that if you hit the phone it breaks"
I like one of the comments, especially the avatar. Seriously the battery really had a warning not to hammer it. Also it's not possible to tell but surely the phone he destroyed might've been a faulty device.
I love how he acts at first as if he's doing some sort of scientific test of the phone's physical defenses.
Yeah, drop tests are cool because they actually have a purpose, but who the fuck needs to know if their phone can withstand a direct hammer hit? Well, people who leave their phones sitting around at construction sites I guess...
So ATT jerks me around on sending out my S5 and this dickwad just mashes one with a hammer. :suicide:
This jerkwad actually makes money smashing them since jerks like me post their videos on well visited forums, and jerks like you watch them. Sad but true :( Hurts to see, I know.
The kid's an idiot, but why are you butthurt if he decides he wants to buy expensive phones and break them with a hammer? It doesn't make him a dick just because he isn't giving away a commodity he paid for, get over it. You're promoting his hobby you dislike so much by sharing the video in the first place.

Don't destroy things that other people would die for to have, just because. People in developed parts in the world think this is shameful and disrespectful, imagine someone from a third world country watching this (without ever realistically being able of owning a $800 phone). Again it's a waste of good phone / resource, and it's tasteless. And I said multiple times I am promoting this video because it backfires and is therefor exceptional. Do you read?
there go my lungs [editline]e[/editline] and his
He did not buy it. A free review product.
He did not buy it. A free review product.
Nah. The kid has like 50 videos of him boiling, microwaving, smashing or otherwise destroying recent high-end telephones. Different brands too. I think he buys them, but that it makes up for it in ad revenue. Most his videos have 1.000.000+ views.
That can't be healthy. At all. Battery is not something you want to breathe into your lungs.
I love how he went to actually hit the battery with the hammer as it was going off
"i have concluded that if you hit the phone it breaks"
"What's more is that the battery is volatile and smashing it with a hammer is bad."
I love how he went to actually hit the battery with the hammer as it was going off
Pause @ 0:37. You'll see the battery is already swelling, and is about to pop the backplate off. He then hits it again, and tries to hit the battery even as it starts spewing it's contents.
To be fair, it's actually kind of interesting. I like how you can see that the battery isn't a solid brick, but rather a delicate pressurized pouch inside a thin plastic case.

Do you read?
You're still promoting HIM and making him money to perpetuate this "tasteless" channel. Do you internet? And anyone who's willing to die for a cell phone is a fucking idiot.
Are we looking at the same channel? PressGK? His most popular video only has 380 views.
Oh wow. I saw this vid this morning and wanted to link it. I searched for "Hammer s5 smash explosion" and used the first hit. Didn't check ownership. To be fair to the lad, I'll at least link to his own channel. And jeez, you don't even get hyperboles? Nobody would literally die for a phone, it's a figure of speech. Stop threadshitting?
It's a reupload, I know this guy. The original uploader is TechRax.
Yup, updated original post to link to his account 5 mins ago.

I'm pointing out the irony in your complaint as you have just succeeded in funding it further. I personally have no qualms in watching a cell phone being smashed with a hammer, it's relatively entertaining watching people get their panties in a wad over a piece of mobile electronics. I'd gladly be in his position, getting paid to destroy things that are plentiful and unnecessary sounds like fun.
I just loved how the battery zoomed away, spraying his shit with nasty shit. Fucking shit.
I think he already made the 1000$ back, the average YouTube cpm is 7.60$ so 200000 / 1000 = 200, 200 * 7.60 = 1520$ Actually I think YouTube take 45% so he's left with 836$ can anyone confirm this?
