Senate Judiciary Committee issues subpoena for former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort to testify.
Just breaking, so all that's in the source. ABC News Public hearing as well! [editline]25th July 2017[/editline] Also, the hearing is tomorrow
Long shot here, but are they aware that the Trump campaign are having plenty of time to fabricate say-nothing-useful testimonies, hence the short notice?
There's a small possibility this could be related to Kushner's closed-session testimony yesterday in which he was not under oath but was effectively under oath because the precedent is set that false statements in Congressional testimony are punishable. I wouldn't be surprised if we're seeing a race between Trump's inner circle as to who can throw the rest under the bus without being blamed.

The hero we all deserved, right under our noses this whole time.
Long shot here, but are they aware that the Trump campaign are having plenty of time to fabricate say-nothing-useful testimonies, hence the short notice?
Campaign? The campaign is over, it's the administration now.
Campaign? The campaign is over, it's the administration now.
Sorry. I must be in some sort of delirious denial. That's what my crew's going to be called when I make it big as an MC in post-apocalypse Britain...
Campaign? The campaign is over, it's the administration now.
With the way the administration runs, it's hard to blame him for the mistake. Rallies, still talking about Hillary as if they're still running, etc.
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/subpoena-dropped-trump-campaign-chairman/story?id=48834903
The Senate Judiciary Committee has dropped their subpoena compelling former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort to appear after reaching a deal to work together, according to both sources close to Manafort and the Senate Judiciary Committee. The Senate Judiciary Committee confirmed that an agreement was reached and Manafort will not be at the committee's hearing on Wednesday as the subpoena originally compelled him to be.
welp
Seems like the subpoena was a threat to make him play ball. Now they're getting what they originally wanted.
