They are aiming for a high quality game, AAA title. You know, good visuals, sounds, etc.

I don't get what is so gimmicky about it. The only thing that makes it stand out from Battlefield or CoD is the fact that it's based around police fighting criminals and the setting.
It's ImBrokeRU, the animations being beautiful is to be expected. This does look like a very interesting idea, good luck to them, I'll be sure to buy if it gets released.

and maybe to avoid unbalanced games they can have multiple banks and the robbers can pick which one to rob?When the bank is being robbed the players at the other banks are teleported and changed to the cops side where they have to drive all the way to the bank.

I like it, but the $250 Collectors seems a bit much, I liked the $100 Collectors on Wasteland 2 it had the perfect price for it.
hopefully it doesn't end up like payday.
Top notch animations and modelling from what I can tell, this is one of the few Kickstarter game projects to show real AAA game industry skill and experience backing it up.

That's kind of the point, a BF3/CoD style game in a completely new and fresh environment.
First Kickstarter project I might actually back up.
I honestly hope this comes out, it's like Battlefield 3 but with Cops and Robbers.
I love the unique item ideas too, sounds very fun to tase someone to death (In practise will work once per 20 matches probably :v:)
