Hahaha number 5

#1 reminds me, still no word on Barnaby Jack's mysterious death before he was to present the Pacemaker hack at Black Hat?

I love how the link says "10-ways-hackers-could-ruin-your-day-right-now" http://www.popsci.com/technology/gallery/2013-04/10-ways-hackers-could-ruin-your-day-right-now?image=0 yet it clearly states 5 ways.

doesn't include hacking someone apart with an axe 0/5
they're in my area
lmao @ number 4, last I recall OnStar only has the ability to start and turn off your car, along with disabling acceleration [that is if you've gone and subscribed and paid for onstar with your car] the most hackers could do is constantly turn your windshield wipers on and off to annoy you.
Instead of #4 wouldn't it be easier to rig the car to explode or something?
were they serious
This was from a magazine around the [del]60s[/del] 80s where they featured a bunch of predictions of the "future". Pretty hilarious to see how close and how off they were to some things. [editline]asas[/editline] So I was way off, this is the book it's from: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0531035670?ie=UTF8&tag=paleofuture-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0531035670
Apparently you must be a 1337 uber haxor to control RC vehicles now.
I still believe that a lot of this would be rendered just about impossible if both software and hardware engineers were not so fucking ignorant when it came to commodity hardware in specialty equipment.

What a scallywag! I say!

Those hacker stock images don't get old. I honestly laugh every time I see them, they are just so ridiculous.

I can confirm the police computer-fraud squad exists. The FP mods also have similar uniform requirements.
