Visit the source for a video of my dog, who's name is actually 'Brodie', if you'd like. Everyone got out alright, My brother, his girlfriend, my mom, and my younger sister. Also, all of our pets made it out unharmed. Unfortunately, the fire took the house so fast, they couldn't put it out before it completely burned everything.... My poor mom has no where to live now... There's a person of interest in how the fire started. Until they find evidence, it's just an accident.

There has been some pretty nasty fires here in central Texas lately. I know multiple people who have lost their houses in just the past few days. Wouldn't wish that on anyone, must be a truly horrible feeling.

We had a house fire a couple weeks ago, wasn't as bad as this though. Our water-heater went up one morning and my mum shouted me and my sister to get out. Nearly naked, I ran hobbled outside (leg broke a couple months back so I looked EVEN more stylish standing out there) and watched as the smoke poured out and I felt the hope of going back in to some nice, undamaged possessions trickling away. Fire engines got there in 5 minutes though and put out the fire before it got into an empty loft-space apparently built like a bonfire. We may have to wait till late October before it's all back to normal (no water-heater means no electricity, hot water, gas) but my god, if the firemen had been just 30 seconds later, we would be in the same position as your mum and our family can barely take it as it is.

In brighter news, multiple charities are already on the move collecting clothes and money for my mom and sister, since my brother and his girlfriend do not live there. I'm going to try to start a few in my area. I live about 30 minutes away with my father, so I would like to do all that I can to help. My girlfriend has plenty of nice hand-me-down clothes for my younger sister though.
Poor girl's first day of Middle School was today, and this is how she gets to remember it. All of her possessions burned in a house fire, that in my honest opinion was no accident...

My house caught on fire while there was a massive fire burning ways back of my town, and our house almost burned down due to all the firetrucks at the other burning building. It was scary. Luckily, it didn't do a lot of damage and they stopped it in time
