Anyone who uses IE lives in a cave also they're called "browsers"
I like firefox. I hear they're coming up with an addon that informs you when you post a thread in the wrong section.
Every browser sucks. It's just to what extent do they suck at which people use them. But I use Firefox, and sometimes Opera. IE sucks so hard I wouldn't know why anyone uses it.
Thanks for posting 3 internet browsers half the internet already knows
I use Google Chrome. It's beast.
Thanks for posting 3 internet browsers half the internet already knows
im pretty sure all of the internet knows them (seeing as how they see this thread through them)
Thanks for posting 3 internet browsers half the internet already knows
Of course everyone knows of them. This is a thread for discussing them.
I like firefox. Was expecting info on some lesser known browsers that I had never heard of.. But anyways, I use Firefox, because it's simply the best. [editline]11:25PM[/editline]
etscape
No, no, no, no, no!!
Safari *ducks*
Was expecting info on some lesser known browsers that I had never heard of.. But anyways, I use Firefox, because it's simply the best.
Well, not to seem rude, but I don't think anyone in their right mind would use Safari or Opera. Well, out of their own free-will, that is. Either way, why do you think it's the best? I've been pretty much been wondering why people love Firefox so much.
Personal Notes: Fast loading, tool bars can be bulky for some
wait what There are no toolbars at all besides the tabs, address bar, and favorites, and that can even be disabled what the hell are you talking about.
I use IE5.
wait what There are no toolbars at all besides the tabs, address bar, and favorites, and that can even be disabled what the hell are you talking about.
File, Edit, View - One Toll Bar General 'Back,' 'Forward,' 'Home,' and URL Bar - Two Toll Bars Shortcut Links - 3 Toolbars Current Tabs Open - 4 Toolbars And any others you have installed. That's the default. Yes, you can have them disabled, but that's the default. Thought after removing them so it has the same as Chrome's bars, it seems to be a lot better... But either way, as I said, the current personal notes, currently unedited, are of my opinion.
OP seems as tech savvy as my mom

Opera.
OP seems as tech savvy as my mom
I did quick 10 minutes research on Wikipedia. Wasn't really expecting the original post to be extra informative. Did you not see the ending? Useful information will be added if posted?
Firefox can do everything and be modified to look like anything.
Not to doubt you, but I'd like to see an example of some extreme modification to Firefox.
Google Toolbar does what "accelerators" can, but better.

I can see that the shape and style of each button was changed. Thanks! Edit: Apparently, I was wrong, judging by the mass of boxes and negative responses. As I said in reply to one of these response... I don't have a Mac. How would I know what Safari looks like? (Obviously other than installing it, which I have no need to) I never attempted to modify Firefox. How would I know what it could look like?

How did you forget Opera, www.opera.com I use it since it's the fastest over all others :smug:

I see what you did there.
Oh dear... Also, OP, you forgot a big part of Google Chrome: Extensions. In my opinion, they are way better and much faster than "toolbars". Also, you forgot to rank each browser buy how W3C compliant they are. IE's Trident engine simply likes to act Iike a stubborn baby. Firefox's engine is much better, but then WebKit is the best. Chrome gets 100% on the Acid3 test.

I use opera, I like the speed dial. Even though chrome has it too, opera seems better for just browsing.
