A Hong Kong government spokesperson says port authorities barred a North Korean ship from entering the territory's waters on Wednesday. The ship is one of 31 vessels blacklisted in the sanctions imposed in response to North Korea's latest nuclear test and rocket launch that's widely believed to have been a long-range ballistic missile test. In another development, an official of Rizhao Port in China's Shandong Province says the port decided to ban all North Korean vessels. North Korean coal is unloaded at Rizhao. The sanctions ban UN members from importing such coal. The Reuters news agency says one of the blacklisted ships was refused entry at Rizhao several days ago. A ship-tracking website shows that the vessel is about 30 kilometers from the port. Last Saturday, the Philippines said it seized a North Korean cargo ship in compliance with the sanctions.
Video in article: http://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20160311_25/ In some other NK news: N.Korea hacks smartphones of 40 S.Korean officials
Nice to see China stepping up and doing something
First Russia, now China. I'm glad to see all of North Korea's allies are leaving them.
This is good news because the less allies North Korea has, the better, but I'm also afraid this could also make the North Koreans more desperate and less hesitant to consider aggressive action.

Piss off the whole world with no allies to have your back. Because that can only end well. Ladies and gentlemen I give you North Korea: the parking lot.
That's a bit soulless.
There are lots of things that can happen if NK suddenly decides it doesn't care about common sense. Common sense dictates you don't piss everyone off when you are alone, outnumbered, and heavily outgunned. I'm just saying North Korea can expect to be fucking steamrolled into a pancake if they want to pick a fight with the entire world.
First Russia, now China. I'm glad to see all of North Korea's allies are leaving them.
China has always been part of the sanctions when NK acts up, this really isn't news. Last time this happened China and the US worked together on it.
That's a bit soulless.
They pick a fight the wrong way, thats exactly what'll happen. Not soulless, just reality.
That's a bit soulless.
Souless is what they do with their population.
Souless is what they do with their population.
And what do you think will happen to their population when they get "steamrolled"?
Doesn't Kim-Jong Un have some cousin in switzerland or sweden? Kill Un and all his generals and then put the cousin in power so he can reform the country. :vs:
And what do you think will happen to their population when they get "steamrolled"?
No such thing as a good war. Unfortunately innocent people die all the time during conflicts. The best we can do is to avoid heavily damaging civilian areas, and the best they can do is get out of there and look for shelter.
Yes. We don't want them to have nukes but we won't disarm our own.
Yes. We don't want them to have nukes but we won't disarm our own.
Thats a funny viewpoint. Even if disarming started NK most likely wouldnt do it.
Yes. We don't want them to have nukes but we won't disarm our own.
We don't dick wave and threaten to launch every weekend or so.
Yes. We don't want them to have nukes but we won't disarm our own.
But we are?
Yes. We don't want them to have nukes but we won't disarm our own.
it's easy really they want to nuke people we don't see?

I might be tired out of my mind but they seem bizarrely two-dimensional, and partially full-bright... Some photographer assist?
