• Sick guppy?

Ok, i have a miniature tank of fish, it started out with 5, 1 diesd of shock a few days after introduction, and the other of a fungal infection. The 3 remaining fish are 2 guppies and a neon tetra. One of my guppies seems to be sick, hanging out among the rocks at the bottom of the tank. He rarely moves, but does swim up to the surface to eat, and swims around occasionally, but seems to rest at the bottom of the tank/on the plant more often than not. So, if anyone here knows about fish, what's happening to him, and what is the best course of action?
Is your water clean?
How many litres is the tank? Sounds like he isn't happy and he'll probably die within the next few days =(
The fuck? How did it get shocked to death?
The fuck? How did it get shocked to death?
It died OF shock. OF shock. There is no electricity involved.
Yes, water is CLEAN, i changed it not long ago. And it's a 4 - 5 litre tank, and theres only 3 small fish in it.
Go to the local pet shop.
What kind of water is it.
There is only one kind of water, H2O And guppies are freshwater anyway are they not?
He is fapping, leave him alone.

lolerskins you cannot keep that amount of fish in 5 litres. Guppies need at least a 30 litre tank man. With 2 tetra as well they are probably dying of ammonia poisoning. Take them back to the store >_>
I'm guessing: 1. There's nothing in the tank besides rocks... 2. You don't have a filter... And yah know you need to specially treat the water. Edit: BTW here's mah fishtank. Also I have 1 more in a different room: (sorry for the glare and general crap quality.) OH YEAH ONE MORE EDIT: One of the blue fish (he's in the picture) has survived for nine years. Not even joking.
Also if you do a complete water swap, some fish dont like fresh water. So let it stay in a bowl or something for a couple of days then put it in the fish tank. Also guppies arent the best fish, they always get sick. Get scalar fish, they usually dont die from a small infection or you being too inexperienced to take care of them properly. Also get 2 of them, and make sure they are young so they get along well with each other. Also your guppy might be too fat or have some baby fish in its stomach so its hard for it to swim. Dont over feed fish, they eat very little. Also bigger fish eat smaller ones, so if you do get baby fish they going to be eaten, unless you have some kind of plants where they could hide (too thick for bigger fish). Also small snails are good for the tank and get air pump for your tank, also small bowl tanks are stupid get a bigger one or your fish will die.
put it in the toilet thats what i did when the get sick i flush em down
Also the most interesting fish i think is a catfish, if you have big enough tank.
It's okay, he's just masturbating and doesn't want you to see.
lol what kind of pussy fish dies from being scared of a new tank
gd is not a vet.
gd is not a vet.
what are you talking about i am a vet i have a degree in vetteranicy.
vetteranicy? Don't you mean veteranarianism? I would treat the water with some beneficial bacterial and check the ph it may be to acidic or to alkaline, if it is too acidic you can put a piece of driftwood in too help it out. Also, is the guppy fat with a little brown dot on its under belly towards its ass? It could be pregnant, guppies constantly get pregnant.
I don't know much about fish, but you may just have a boring guppy.

He also did not mean for you to take him seriously.
I don't know much about fish, but you may just have a boring guppy.
Or a dying guppy.

Also, is the guppy fat with a little brown dot on its under belly towards its ass? It could be pregnant, guppies constantly get pregnant.
The bacteria take about 2 weeks to develop if you cycle the tank properly. Guppies are hardy fish so pH doesn't really matter. Driftwood is expensive and usually quite big. The brown dot is black and is always present in guppies, if it's big and their belly is square then they are pregnant. He has a 5 litre tank, which is too small for 1 guppy alone. He needs to either get a bigger tank, cycle it properly, get a heater and a method of oxygen airation or take the fish back to the shop because they will die within a few weeks/days. [editline]10:43PM[/editline] And as backflip said, he probably hasn't removed chlorine and chloramines from the water using Tetra safe start >_>
One method of introduction oxygen to the water would be to plant small underwater plants in the tank... So think on that. Make sure to start your own little spiral toparies to, in order to aid your guppies failing mental health.
He needs a bigger tank. It's annoying when people overstock a tiny fish tank and wonder why the fish are dying. He's practically killing them slowly making them suffer.
Ok, ive kept fish long enough and know enough to be classed as a professional. There is a list of things you need to tell me for a decent diagnosis to take place.. Tank size: 5 Litres Filter(Not just yes no, what one): Heater: All fish in tank: Symptoms: As some others have said, yes the tank is FAR too small for the fish you have in it. The first fish wont have died from shock it will have died from ammonia poisoning from you having an incorrectly cycled filter... or not having one at all. Get me the info on the checklist.
The fuck? How did it get shocked to death?
the guppy saw Lolerskins' face and went into shock and died
Oh, and also get a test kit for your tank, i recommend the API master test kit.
