This game always seemed really cool on the Wii U, I'll be glad to be able to actually play it now.
Neato, but the music really killed the trailer imo
It's going to lose most of its charm without the Wii U remote functionality. It's just gonna be like any other zombie game now.

Yeah this is what bothers me about it
part of the charm of it was the tension of having to look down at the gamepad and not be able to see what was coming, gave you the real sense of panic you'd get from having to rummage around your bag when on the run
But I heard this was horrible

From where? It was pretty well received on release and has a 77/100 on metacritic.

British Zombies ya plonker.

The gameplay and setting were good but the story was pretty awful, tried to be more in depth than it needed to be. But it was still fun.
Also the original theme was better.

I mean, it's not terrible. I enjoyed my time with it, but there are definitely ways they could have improved the experience. I'm not really worried about the lack of gamepad gimmicks with the game now, since I felt using the gamepad ended up making some parts a little more annoying than enjoyable, it should be nice to finally control aiming with a mouse.
And if there was one concept I really enjoyed it was the multiplayer mode that allows you to spawn, upgrade, and send zombies after another player in capture-point, or survival match.
Ubisoft PC ports of Wii U games.
What could go wrong?
Isn't this the first time a Wii U exclusive was ported to the PC?

Well, its something to buy during August, always did want to try it out but i havent had the chance to buy the WiiU yet.
The multiplayer better be online. It was similar to Zombie Master in which the person on the WiiU controlled the environment iirc
The first trailer was better
It's a good game for a couple of hours. It definitely has the old school survival horror feel, where you're constantly low on resources and the jank actually makes the game better.
I hated playing it on the pad because aiming with thumb sticks is fucking hell.
I thought the game was ok. The gameplay felt really shallow and flat to me, but for a launch title Wii U game it was one of the best of the bunch, hence it was probably a little higher received than it should have been in my opinion. If this is going to be full price then it's not really worth it unless they've added a bunch. £20 would be the perfect price point

It's gonna be digital only so it most likely won't be full priced.

What could go wrong?
It's being developed by Tantalus/Straight Right, who did Deus Ex HR Director's Cut and the Wii U port of Mass Effect 3, so if anything it'll be kind of unremarkable on the bugs side of things.

For £20 I could eat for 20 days
This reminds me, I still haven't tried ZombiU on my Wii U, I bought it for like 5 bucks.
You should try it. It's different.
British Zombies ya plonker.
Ugh, great, a Killing Floor clone.
ZombiU is weird, I really really liked the concept, but the execution was kind of meh. It still was quite fun for that time when you owned a Wii-U and had no other games to play.
Im hype time to finally give it a shot
Does the framerate to anyone else seem a bit low? Or is it common for official trailers to not be uploaded in 60 fps-mode?
Anyone know who is singing the London Bridge song?

Some people say it's Dezzaired, but I don't know. This is all I found, but it's ripped from the trailer, it's not complete.

It still looks insanely clunky.
they got rid of that mp mode for the port

Noooo! The multiplayer, while bare bones, was actually really good! Reminded me a lot of ZombieMaster from ye olde days of Source multiplayer mods

As someone who only kinda liked ZombiU and didn't like a whole lot of things about the game, I can tell you this: the clunkiness adds to the charm this game has
