does anyone know where I can get guitar lessons online (willing to pay) preferably video
Youtube
Buy the Metal Method DVD(s). Or Justin Guitar, that's free.
www.accessrock.com was the best lesson database I found, though if you're willing to pay for online lessons you're better off paying for real lessons

At least take some lessons with an instructor for maybe a year before you try taking them online... if you haven't already, I mean.
I'LL TEACH u OVER STEAM CHAT

im not sure if this is right but Justinguitar.com is pretty good, it teaches all of the scales and lots of free stuff
My reccomendation is do not pay for lessons online. If you pay then pay for a real instructor(which you are). As for that I reccomend youtube, practically any technique you want to learn has about 1000 different videos showing you how to do it.
does anyone know where I can get guitar lessons online (willing to pay) preferably video
ultimate-guitar.com has some, but the best thing you could probably do is learn tab.
ultimate-guitar.com has some, but the worst thing you could probably do is learn tab.
Fixed Seriously, tabs make you "look I can play some awesome songs, chicks will love that!" Use your ears, figure out the scales used, add your own touch here and there. It helps a LOT more than just tabbing everything
Oh fuck off tabs are the way I learned to play closing the thread now

SilverHammer let people use their OPINION it's a valuable MODDING TOOL
Nextlevelguitar with Mikey is great, he's on youtube.

It helps a LOT more than just tabbing everything
A lot of people struggle to figure stuff out by ear or can't read sheet music, that's why tab is useful. There's a lot about how to play something that can't be conveyed by tabs/sheet music though and that's where the guitarists personal touch comes in. And I do agree that figuring stuff out by ear is good practice, just as long as you check up that you got the notes right. If you're willing to pay, just go into a music store and get the Hal Leonnard Guitar Method Book 1 and teach yourself from that, it's straight forward.
If you're willing to pay you might as well pay for actual lessons where you have an instructor giving you inputs on what you're doing right and wrong. Granted, you might be able to learn a lot from online lessons, but if you end up doing a thing wrong, it'll be hard to get it right once you realise what you're doing wrong. It's really much easier when the person teaching is able to give personal advice.

If you just want to PLAY guitar, tabs are fine. Keep in mind that most tabs don't have note values so most of the time you'll have to figure out the timings for yourself. If you want to learn how to write music for the guitar, don't go anywhere near tabs. Learn the notes on the guitar and learn all you can about music. (Scales mostly, but Cadences and Chords, as well as Modes are also recommended.) That's all I have to say.
