• Some weird telephone shit

Something really weird just happened to me, my grandmother was trying to call me and the number I saw on my phone was hers, I picked up and couldn't hear anyone for about 6 seconds, then I heard a man, convo went as follows: Me: "Hello?" Man: "Hello?" Me: "Who is this?" Man: "It's Joshs brother." Me: "Sorry, you probably called the wrong number." (dunno why I said this considering the call was coming from my grandmas cellphone :v:) Man: *started saying something but the call got disconnected* A few seconds passed and I made sure I had seen things right, it was indeed my grandmas number, the phone started ringing again, I denied the call and phoned back from my cell, it said it was busy, waited a few more seconds and called again, it was my grandma this time and she said that: 1. When she tried to call me first, she got connected to a woman named Kate who told her she probably got the wrong number. She then hanged up at about the same time my convo with the man hanged up "randomly". 2. She then made sure she had called the right number, which was indeed true, finding that strange she called the number again (this time I denied the call) and she got this Kate woman answering again, she then hanged up and got my call, which was finally placed to the right person. Tell me facepunch, what the fuck just went on?
Slender man is at your door and he wants 20 dollars.
Your phone was trolling you.
Your phone service provider had an error and connected you and your grandma to the wrong numbers. Shit happens.
In 22 years that's the first that happens to me, funny that they got it wrong twice (but only when she was calling me). Or it was slender man, more inclined for this one :v:
Your phone was trolling you.
Oh my why cant i stop laughing!
That shit would freak me out. Like someone is always listening to your calls but accidently pressed a button and chimed in instead.
That's some creepy shit... Burn your phone and live in a cave.
When i was younger i was playing around with my grandma's phone, and i picked it up to my ear and i hear " Hey? is someone there? Dude, there's someone on the other line!" and another person talked and said "Oh shit, hang up NOW DUDE!" and then i heard silence.
Oh my why cant i stop laughing!
No, why can't I stop laughing.
Did you get Kate's number?
Oh shit guys, I was just bangin' this granny so I decided to phone my friend and tell him about it, but I accidentally speed-dialed her grandson! I just said "I'm Josh's brother", trying to convince him that I'd phoned the wrong number, but I think he knows something's up! Am I screwed guys?

Happened to me once, except it was while I was already talking with my friend, and the next thing we know we can both hear a woman's voice for about 4 seconds.
One time I tried to call my mom, I used the speed-dial, so there was no error in the number. However, instead of my mom, it was some lady, who screamed "BATTERIES" before the like suddenly cut off. I called the same number and my mom picked up, she told me her phone didn't ring.
This reminds me of when i was little because i had a walkie-talkie and i used to go through all the channels seeing if anyone was talking on them.
but who was phone
Dean, just go pick up Bobby and you two can get to the bottom of this
Probably an error with the phone line connections
Chang your service provider
Are you on a landline? I know your Grandmother was on her cell, but the reasons could differ if you're on a cell as well. Also, to the other people hearing ransom bits of conversation, that's usually caused by a cordless phone signal interfering with your own cordless phone.
