The day after the Thanksgiving in the United States, which is considered the first shopping day of the Christmas season. Normally stores offer deep discounts on items to try and get people in, but usually they only last a single day or less. It's also (now) the busiest shopping day of the year.

[B][I]When is Black Friday?[/I][/B]

Friday, November 27th 2015. Many stores have been opening late on Thanksgiving Day, however. Likely to try and cut down on the amount of people in stores and to compete a bit more.

[B][I]What about Cyber Monday?[/I][/B]

Cyber Monday is the Monday after Black Friday and takes place exclusively online. Depending on the category, some items may be cheaper on Cyber Monday. Sometimes you can find Black Friday deals online, but some deals may only be available in stores.

that said, im waiting for a wii u sale of some kind. im a stickler. anyway, any chance this'll be longer than last years because of it being earlier or no? also is there really a reason to go shopping the second black friday hits? black friday sales go on for a couple of days but people cram on the very first day, its strange.

Chances are there will be some nice Wii U sales this season, or Nintendo is really missing out. GameStop might have a good deal on used ones, and Toys R Us or Amazon may have good sales for new ones.

There is totally a chance that stores will start spreading deals out to multiple days. Wouldn't expect any to go before Wendsday or after Saturday, though.

Also the main reason that people do that is because of doorbusters and limited supply. Walmart, for example, only puts their sale items out for 2 hours and then you simply can't buy them after that. Some hotter items may go within an hour even if the store has the sale up for a day. Still worth going to stores to just see if they have stuff afterwards, though.

Honestly it depends on what store you go to and where it is. Walmart last year had a decent system of spreading deals around the entire store and removing some of their clothing to make way, and maybe they'll do that again. They had cops there to make sure people didn't take shit before they could, was weird.

Some stores still do the traditional "line up and rush in the moment the doors open" junk that causes most of the problems.

For TVs sold online that is about the best price you are going to get unless you go on the cheap end of things. For $350 you can get a barebones cheap 4K TV that may or may not last, but that's up to you.

I've had luck with Spectre's 1080p models around this size, but can't speak for the 4K ones.
