In case it has not been brought up. Check this out. There is a petition on facebook if ya want to get involved.
OP you could at least post a snippet of the article. That's fucked up though why are they able to avoid paying when.
The price of a litre of bottled water in B.C. is often higher than a litre of gasoline.
Muh water (User was banned for this post ("Meme reply" - MaxOfS2D))
This is from the same company whose CEO claimed that water should be privatized. Fuck Nestle.

Fuck Nestle.
they're doing the same shit in brazil, also nestle is the same company that was involved in ACTUAL slave labor in africa a few years ago. I love water
This doesn't surprise me, at all. Nestlé tries to avoid paying taxes in my country and other places as well. Squeezing money out of everything without giving much in return
I saw the rules stating to just post a link. Plus I have my toddler here, as much as I love him, he makes being on a forum etc.. a bit difficult. So I keep things short and sweet. :D Go sign the petition guys if you think Nestle and what they do is BS. And maybe think twice next time you are shopping for a drink or whatever else they make. :)

Water tastes good doesnt it guys
i drink tap. bottled is water in a plastic from tap when you want to put it fine and simple.
And maybe think twice next time you are shopping for a drink or whatever else they make. :)
Or just think twice about buying bottled water in general. Tap water isn't as bad as it seems.
Or just think twice about buying bottled water in general. Tap water isn't as bad as it seems.
This, especially if you have a filter.
Multinational corporations stealing resources behind our backs? I never realized I apparently live somewhere in Africa
I have lake Michigan tap water. When my cousins came up from Brazil they were absolutely flabbergasted that we drink straight out of the tap. I never buy bottled shit.

Next time there shall be a snippet. [editline]5th October 2013[/editline]
Or just think twice about buying bottled water in general. How can Nestlé still exist after all this shit?
If you lived in BC why would you buy bottled water anyways.
Windsor gives it's energy generated from Wind farms to Detroit for free. Detroit sells it back to us. This isn't the first time America has taken us from behind. (Nestle is an American brand isn't it?)
If you lived in BC why would you buy bottled water anyways.
While at home, sure. But if you're out on the road and suddenly get thirst, I doubt you can just go into someone's house and ask for a cup of tap - even with as friendly as Canadians are.
“B.C. is the only jurisdiction in Canada that doesn’t regulate groundwater use.”
The BC government needs to get its ass in gear.
Gas costs $1.20/litre right now in Toronto. Bottled water, if bought individually, costs anywhere from $2.00-$5.00/litre. The one time I've seen water cheaper than gas is when I saw discount water for sale in a bin at Canadian Tire for $0.98/litre.

There are times and places you can even ask to use someone's bathroom.
Our provincial government is fucking awful.
Every provincial government is awful, except for maybe Sask.
bottled is water in a plastic from tap when you want to put it fine and simple.
huh? I think you're trying to say that bottled water and tap water are the same but what the hell did you write
Whether you drink tap water or bottled water is not the issue. Taking ground water for free and profiting from it. Also, they have many products which no doubt they use this free water for, not just bottled water. Here is a list of Nestle brands on Wikipedia. Just now, some have surprised me. Like Dreyer's and Gerber... And by the way, I am not making this post to inform people of corruption within corporations. That should be common knowledge these days... Tis to inform of this water being taken, profited from but not paid for. Not to mention this could cause sinkholes in the future...
Nestle bottled water tastes fucking disgusting my shitty tap water tastes way better
Water is delicious guys
Nestle bottled water tastes fucking disgusting my shitty tap water tastes way better
you drink water for the taste?
