Ok so quick question, I need to get myself a motorcycle battery and I don't know much about them.
I know I need a 12v and still have to figure out the amperage I need for my two lights, my main concern being what type to get.
From what I've been reading I should get an "AGM" type battery as they have long lasting charge and lifetime aswell as me not needing cold cranking amps.
What I really need is to know if I'm doing it right or should be corrected, since I don't yet know the amperage I'll need for my lights Ill just make an example.
Like I said correct my example if its way off, I need to check my lights for required amperage
(12v head and taillight requiring a combined 20A load would be powered for two hours off of a 40AH battery?)
Get the battery designed for the bike.
I like AGM batteries.
Once started the bikes generator/alt will power everything.
But check the stock size and see of a bigger battery will fit.
The bike is a six volt system 72 enduro, not gonna bother rewiring the whole thing.
I just need a battery that can keep it street legal for a few hours at a time. (headlight, taillight, and brake-light)
