In my opinion the worlds a mess, I think our whole economic system is in need of a change, it clearly isn't working and that's becoming more obvious to people, I mean our current economic system is just one way of structuring society we could do much better. Just imagine a Utopian society which ran purely on renewable energy and of which the pure goal of the society was simply education, culture would become much like in this video where everyone would strive to innovate yet on a greater magnitude, so far I can only dream of such a society but it would be fucking amazing.
We're essentially coming to a technological point where it's pointless to get people to do petty useless jobs and to a point where farming and selling it is useless when we can harvest it mechanically on such a scale to provide it for free. The whole supply and demand structure has to break down at some point it's just a matter of time.
